Did you miss the part that stated that the Kal-Tec was the make Zimmerman had previously owned?

Only makes sense that they would offer him the gun he was obviously familiar with.

George should take full advantage of this offer from the gun shop and get himself a Glock 27

Kel-Tec is the KIA of guns, but like KIA they have come a long way. Taurus as well. Used to be Taurus was a cheap POS, now they actually make some decent firearms. Kel-Tec is no different. Some Kel-Tec's are total crap, but not all of them. Besides, we don't know if GZ had any work done on the pistol to make it function more reliably or not.

Semi-auto pistols that function reliably and rock solid right out of the box are the exception and not the rule. Most of them require some pistolsmithing to get them there. The ones you can get that are uber reliable out of the box are nothing more than worked over base models from the manufacturers custom shop and certainly not barebone, stock models right off the assembly line.

All is, however a moot point. We can say with certainty that GZ's Kel-Tec worked when he needed it to.

Good news. I had a feeling more people would start coming out to support him and make sure he gets what he needs.

To be clear, the Kel Tec is the firearm that GZ used. It proved effective. I'm sure he'd like to have it back post haste.

I said San Francisco bay. A bay is a body of water, not a city.

The Don Edwards NWR is on the SF bay, and a popular, though tough, spot to hunt waterfowl.

I'm pretty sure that what Holder did is illegal and unconstitutional. Zimmerman has the right to have his gun back....and I'm pretty sure his lawyers aren't going to stand for this.

Hey Holder. Zimmerman was acquitted by a jury of his peers. LIVE WITH IT!

I have never even heard of a 1911 (I said a 1911, not a cheap knockoff!) that didn't. Heck, even the prototypes the Army tested were flawless...they shot them until they got hot...then dunked them in water and kept shooting. Of course, it WAS designed by the legendary John Browning. :)

Sure, why not? I will carry the Model 29 my uncle carried for 20 years when (if?) my permit (finally) comes through.

Nice list, but I would add a Browning HP as an alternative to the 1911.

If so , it's thanks to the always racist LEFT race baiters, who cannot accept the verdict of the trial THEY LOST.

    A 9MM for a .45ACP? Really?

    I'll take your Browning,and up you a Sig Sauer P226 or P228.

IN place of the M1911...a Sig P225= .45 ACP. Stops 'em COLD.

I also have a SW 6904 that is an EXCELLENT compact (with 12+1 capacity) 9MM.

Wow! Why hasnt Obama jailed the Black Panthers responsible for this blatant threat? We put a kid in jail for making lesser comments during a video game surely this is equally as bad?
Obama? Lefties? Where is your outrage at this?
