There's this small open till late (1am) Polish grocery shop a stone's throw a way that I go to; It's new.
Tonight I found 'Milka Choco Jaffa Cakes'

    It's alright.

We usually just have the Milka Bars in England.

    I just went to this late nigh Polish grocery store near me, it hasn't been there long. I found this there;
It's got 3 languages on it's information, Bulgarian (BG), Polish (PL) and Romanian (RO) and 3 addresses and phone numbers for each country, and it's nutritional information is only in those 3 languages... (I don't know what country Milka are making their products in; but I know which markets this thing I found was packaged for..
In fact, the only English on this at all is the 'Chocolate Flavor Mousse' on the front, and that's American English.

We usually have Milka Bars in the UK..
I like that we have these though.

I love food from other countries, but real food not packaged or junk food. It's one of the reasons why I love living in Melbourne, very cosmopolitan and the food is divine,... from all over the globe.

    ABSOLUTELY LOVE multicultural foods!

My opinion might be skewed, but @Le Chef may agree.

Were the globe to embrace Fusion Cousine, we'd be a happier planet.

I'm sure it depends on what it is, just like "American" foods (whatever that is!). Food is food. If it's good, it doesn't matter where it came from.

I wonder what people from other countries consider to be "American" food? Hamburgers and hotdogs? Because America is one of the most diverse countries on the planet, we have all kinds of food here.

I'd like to, but I can't. I ordered a burrito the other day and got sued for cultural appropriation. Won't do that again.

Actually, I think chop suey is American, believe it or not. But if you're a white American and don't want screaming picketers and a lawsuit, stick to hot dogs. I used to eat oatmeal, but I couldn't prove I was Irish. Mmmm, hot dogs! I think baloney sandwiches are okay if you use untoasted white bread. Just don't call it "bologna."

I live near Chinese food, Jamaican food, Indian food, Turkish kebab and African fiood and a couple of Fried chicken places and 1 pizza place (This pizza place has a peeking duck pizza though). 'Peeking duck pizza is a hoisin sauce base with duck on.
There's like 2 African restaurants, but; the dried fish and smells scare me away, but, some people recommend it.
Some Chinese places serve Thai Food too, (but no Japanese places close by, I have to leave my neighbourhood for that). Some Indian places serve Pakistani food too, some Fried Chicken Shops serve Indian food too. There's also this Greek and Mediterranean restaurant here too, but, it's a bit posher than the rest, so, people use it to celebrate birthdays and couples like showing off in there as, this qualifies as going out to 'some place nice' which, no where else here does. Maybe the Indian restaurant, but this place is more desired and made a fuss of.
My McDonald's has a drive-thru (not all of them do). We also have a KFC, no drive-thru.

I make my own Chinese, Italian, whatever food at home, but it's not "authentic" because I always tweak it to my liking. I don't think what we have here that we call Chinese food is actually really what the Chinese people eat anyways (well most of it anyways). Of course, I'm an American, so I like the pork fried rice and the teriyaki and the chicken wings. Yummy! I'm getting hungry for Chinese now!

I have a great recipe for pork fried rice. In fact, I prefer my own fried rice to that I get in the Chinese restaurants.

I've been working on teriyaki. I've now used two different kinds of steak cuts for it. The first one was a little bit on the tough side. The second one was rib eye (sliced super thin), and it came out pretty good. I think I could marinate it a bit longer and put more basting sauce on it though.

I have trouble eating duck because we had one as a pet when I was a child. As friendly, sociable and affectionate as any dog. What's the difference? And don't say "duck tastes better" unless you've eaten dog.

I prefer my steak with just a little bit of steak sauce if anything at all. I would definitely use the gravy on my potatoes though! :D

I make my own steak sauce. It's way better than A-1, IMO.

I don't think I've ever eaten duck. It's like purple which is kind of a turn off. Lol.

Have you ever eaten a vegetable? Look at your last six posts. I mean leafy green vegetables, so white tubers don't count.

I put red peppers in my pork fried rice and bacon instead of pork. Also, green onions. Happy pappy?

I'll stick with chickens. Chicken is delicious and versatile.

I was in America in 2001 for Thanksgiving.

Passed up the opportunity to eat venison that day too that my brother-in-law's brother hunted himself because it was deer.
I just turned 15 and was fresh off the boat from South London and they told me it was deer 'which it is' but..
I still passed up that opportunity...
Looking back, I probably should have had some, but, I was a kid and that was a culture shock for me, I guess.

Chicken binds you. ;-) I also learned that one in America, in 2004.

I eat chicken all the time. That hasn't been a problem for me. Chicken is better for you than red meat, depending on how it's cooked of course. Fried chicken, not so much.
