Not precisely no it has gone up at a slightly sharper incline. Though the exigencies of an absolutely necessary trade war with China is likely to produce some flattening in the short term.

The GOP enjoyed control of the Executive, Senate, and House for two full years.

They abandoned conservative fiscal principles, and capitulated to the self-proclaimed "King of Debt!" in driving the nation far deeper into the red, yet failed to fulfill their vows regarding immediately repealing the ACA and replacing it with "something terrific!" that "covers everybody!" as "less cost!", building even a single mile of that "big, beautiful wall!" that Fake Don would make Mexico pay for, or even making a feeble beginning at rebuilding the nation's crumbling infrastructure as promised.

Remind me. What was is it that the Trump regime and their GOP enablers in Congress did when they controlled it all regarding your Fannie and Freddie?

Their who what. Had they simply passed a bill to make the tax cuts permanent and pledged not raise taxes it would have made a huge difference. Had they not taken over on the promise of a huge government expansion and regulatory expansion it would have made a huge difference They did the exact opposite. And don't put words in my mouth. But do tell what DID they do before and after to help mitigate it and how did turn out?

And you voted for Representatives and Senators to support those policies and will do so this election cycle?

There is no such thing as "trickle down" there is "supply side". Lack of rebuttal noted.

    No it hasn’t.

A trade war is not only unnecessary but totally irresponsible to initiate.

Clean up the economic mess of improving the stock market by almost 70% in two years?

Communists/Socialists/Progressive have nothing left, they have moved so far to the Left that people don't care what they have to say.

This is evident in the ratings drop that CNN is seeing and the massive bankruptcy going on in all the "Journalism Industry", if you can even call it that ....

The amount of people who view Progressive programming has dropped DRAMATICALLY in the last 3 years while Conservative media has absolutely exploded.

You guys are cute that you think pushing even further to Socialist/Communist ideals is going to win you support. And now trying to switch to "racism REEEEEE" is going to just tank you guys even further.

One notes that these same 'Trump is economically EVIL' leftists said not a word as Obama deliberately placed this nation an additional ELEVEN TRILLION DOLLARS into debt. It's almost as if they have politically-based -- gasp! -- double standards or something.

Irresponsibly stupid to refuse to admit the existence of a war China has been in fact fighting virtually since the Day Nixon went to China while we have been ignoring the fact of it's existence.

Except that it was $8.5 trillion, not $11 trillion added under Obama (note with only two years of full Dem congressional control). I am used to Trump fans exaggerating numbers, though, just like their idol.

What did Obama do? The Problems at Fannie and Freddie should have been fixed by Dobbs long before Trump came into office.

Starting a trade war with China is total fiscal and economic incompetence.

Obama has not been President since January 17, 2017, and rather than flee to bygone days, let's honestly confront reality:

Again, remind me. What was is it that the current Trump regime and their GOP enablers in Congress did regarding Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac during the two years they had exclusive control of Fannie and Freddie?

You know that Clinton and Carter let recessions for their predecessors to pick up after. Also, democrats running in 2020 are proposing huge spending increases that are going to blow up the deficit.
Its interesting that democrats are proposing Medicare for all, free college, student debt forgiveness, green new deal,

It rose eleven trillion under Obama. His administration . . . his responsibility. He never EVER spoke out against the obscenely rising debt and nor did his worshipers. But then again, nobody expected anything different from Obama or from his worshipers.

No, it didn’t rise by 11 trillion. He managed to cut the deficit in half during his 8 years. The debt is a direct result of the republican caused recession in 2008, which is the worst on record in 80 years.

What is wrong with you people. He was handed an economy in a death spiral. He took an economy that was losing 600.000 jobs a month, to one adding half to as many.

    "Trickle-down" was a dysphemism for supply-side economics.

Interestingly, Clinton and Carter are the only two Presidents since Nixon, to actually reduce the debt to GDP ratio.

What hurt Clinton was the bursting of the dot com bubble.

It is called supply-side economics and helped produce the full employment, rising wages and soaring tax revenues that resulted in budget surpluses or paltry deficits at the least when combined with conservative spending restraint.

Regan had to clear up Carter's mess but I like to give Carter a break due to oil. But Reagan Bush left a economic mess for Clinton, and Obama did for Trump, nothing like what he inherited but a mess none the less.

You don't like truth and facts?
    Rs spend like Ds
One will try to pay for it thru taxes. One tries thru growth. One ends in recession. You figure it out as to which party is which.
