It certainly looks like the NeverTrumpers and the "progressives" are aiming for a war. A war with Russia under a Trump administration would derail all of the plans to dismantle obama's regime, would cause economic problems and accelerate the social chaos in the US. "progressives" thrive on conflict and discontent, that's how they advance their agenda.

And a successful Trump Presidency would be the end of "progressivism", and progs cannot tolerate that outcome. For "progressives", better a world war and the destruction of the USA than the ejection of "progressivism" from the stage. For progs, better to have war and rule over a 3rd world USA than have a prosperous free non-progressive USA.

Paying attention? Why should I take someone seriously when he refuses to google the issue and see from many sources that Iran was engaged in fighting US forces in Iraq?

You are proselytizing? Why? Are you paid by the newly converted? I am not proselytizing. I am just not buying your stuff and I told you why.

Ignore Israel/AIPAC's importance in US foreing politics at your own disavantage.

Excellent point. Incentive has been sorely absent.

Things can't help but change. We're switching from a weak, appeasement-oriented internationalist to a strong nationalist.

There's a big difference between skepticism and laziness, Victor.

Unlike the WMDs there's documented evidence of Iran's material support for the insurgents and Special Groups that operated in Iraq.

As for comparing the Islamofascist regime in Iran to the fascist regime in Nazi Germany, you don't need to be a zionist to observe the striking similarities between the two.

Surely, a Leftist such as yourself would never defend such a monstrous regime...

So they are playing now that anti-American card,
Willy is always bias against the US, Russia against Terrorist in Syria? very laughable,
why it only fight non Russian international terrorism in Syria but non in other parts of the world.
ironic and quite hypocrite a stance, the real issue for Russia is Tartus naval base and of course securing the oil flow of it's pipelines.

Spare me with that act of Russia it's quite (*)(*)(*)(*)ty considered as noble,
it's all about oil money in the expense of innocent Syrian blood.

Pfff. There's even more evidence of Saud double-play, that affects us (the occident) much more directly, and yet Saudi Arabia is your ally. Israel is the same time ten. Who you are defining as your "allies" and "enemies" holds much more to current political currents than actual actions.

First, I may be much less of a leftist than you might believe. Of course, from the extreme right everything looks left.

And then, I can make parallels between about every nation and Nazi Germany. Even the US, even Canada. It's a question of knowing in which way the said nation is comparable to NG. And I can say this: in all the bad sides, meaning international law breeches, militaristic hysteria, designation of blood-born ubermenschen and their ancestral untermenschen enemies, concentration camps and attempts at lebensraum on all bordering nations, Iraq rates much lower than Israel, which yet once again is our "ally".

And like I was writing to the other guy, your Israeli ally is just one thing that can prevent the US from becoming buddies with Russia. The US establishment is another.

From what I gather, Russia wants to get along and trade with all nations and doesn't interfere in their internal affairs... unless it's asked by the people to do so. What it expects from the US is what all the nations should expect from the US, and that is to be treated as an equal.

Russia unlike other countries cannot be bullied into submission. It's something that comes from being an empire throughout its history. If Washington had real foreign policy experts like for instance Dr. Stephen Cohen, we wouldn't be having this problem with Russia today.

What if the act is to assimilate and not really to enslave as what others suggest?
Is it Russia's pride now that dominates or is it Putin's?

Continuing the Cold War with Russia and the endless foreign interventions, causing government overthrows and civil wars, military bases all over the world, constant drone and missile strikes - all is worth TRILLIONS of more dollars to the military industrial complex, military contractors, and justification for tens of thousands of government jobs.

The USA and Russia have NEVER been at war with each other and it is the USA that as weapons, troops and missiles all around Russia - not the other way around.

Yes, we're all aware of the duplicity of the Saudis and their pals in the Gulf, but that's irrelevant to the fact that Iran supported the Special Groups and some of the insurgents in Iraq.

If you think I'm extreme Right then you probably are more of a Leftist than I believe. From the extreme Left everything looks Right.

I was talking about Iran, not Iraq, and I'm not the only person who has pointed out the numerous, striking similarities between the fascist regime in Tehran and the one that once existed in Germany. I would think that you're capable of noticing them yourself.

Israel can't prevent the U.S. from becoming buddies with Russia. Right now the biggest obstacle to that are the Democrats who are scapegoating the Kremlin for their awful presidential candidate's defeat. The second biggest obstacle is Vladimir Putin. If Vlad the Invader doesn't want Russia to be buddies with the United States, Russia won't be buddies with the United States.

How is a defensive alliance the aggressors?

    - - - Updated - - -

You do know the Iran deal was negotiated between 6 nations, right?

Your Russian friends were one of those nations that approved of it and they also arm the Iranian military.

May I remind you that the invader in Iraq was you? It is expected that you'll get a reaction, even moreso since you got caught in a Sunni/Shia war. That being said there is no proof whatsoever that officials in Iran orchestrated an attack on the US-occupied Iraq. That's just zionist hasbara, and nobody buys it except you Yanks.

    Okay - point given... :dual:

Still, if you read some of my posts, focusing on those before the elections, you'll find out I blamed HRC even more than Trump.

I was talking about Iran too, I just made a typo. Iran is much less nazi-looking than Israel.

Difference is, Iran does not identifies itself with occidental values - but Israel is. If your country itself, or Israel was clean in this domain, I could have accepted your criticism. But until Gitmo and the wild colonisation stands still, you guys have no lessons to teach the rest of the world in matters of human rights.

Ha ha ha. Come on, Talon...

No. The bigest obstacles are both Israeli and US establishments - and NATO as well. The Democrats were only pursuing the diplomacies that were implanted before them by a variety of US governances, democrats like republicans. If Trump think he can change all that, that's because he didn't got sworn in yet. I wouldn't bet on him in this regard. He is a mouse fighting several gorillas.

It's got nothing to do with what I wish - I would wish the US drops Israel, disband NATO and gets buddies with everybody, you know... but it's utopia.

    Israel is not the topic.

Your refusal to do any actual investigation and your denial of a subject that is very well known shows a closed mind and foolish attitude. When you grow up, I might respond to you again.

That does not change the fact that the Iran deal is a very bad agreement particularly for the US.

But times are changing, and radically. In another week, there will be a sea change in US domestic and international politics. The Obama appeasement/apology/capitulation tour will be replaced by what looks to be an administration that will stand up for US interests.

Repeating this like some kind of mantra won't make it go away. I know it isn't the topic, but it's nonetheless one of the major cause this...

    ... won't happen.

Peddle your schnitz to someone more gullible - I still ain't buying.

    Explain how.

That would mean dropping Israel, right? I would add the Sauds to that list, except you actually get something from the Sauds.

Unless Obama takes us to war with the Russians in the next week, there's nothing anyone can do force Trump into anything in this regard.

Foreign policy is the purview of the President. Period.

I hear on Leftism propaganda far away from me. They want to hurt me if I am Nazi. I never has calling me Nazi in forum so I am well nothing Nazi. But I listen to hard rock musics there they are alerted far away only 1 to 3 people speaking to me. They never knew others than me so they want to hurt me with only hands. We can speak here instead my blame persons. I liked hard rock musicians.
