You asked if the bible had mentioned/referenced to homosexuality.. Old law "The word of God" was taught before the birth of Jesus, I suppose there is a reason Jesus didn't waste time reinforcing established rules/law that Man should have already known ¯\_(º¸º)_/¯

Jesus said not one "jot" of the law would pass from the law, so laws regarding sex, eating shell fish, slavery, etc. from the OT are in in place - that is if one subscribes to what the Bible says.

Well said. Kinsey had it right when he unveiled his scale showing people aren't simply A,B or C. His 10 point spectrum gives a lot more room for those who feel slightly one way, but heavily in another more insight to themselves.

 

Actually a negative can be proven. A negative is "lacking". Meaning that in order to prove it all that you have to do is know ever single bit of knowledge in the entire universe. Do you have that knowledge? If not, then you cannot state in the affirmative that God does not exist.

And that's how people that feel threatened and deprived of the earthly temptations they know are immoral justify doing them. The Bible does nothing more then set down a set of moral rules that mankind can live by.. Some do, some don't..

Which brings up another point. How could the Bible be "inspired by God" if it was (and still is) missing parts of historical text? Like for example not all of the Dead Sea Scrolls are in the bible. If the Bible was "inspired by God" (meaning God guided mans hand in the creation of the bible) then how could parts have been skipped and left out?

 

For a Christian Jesus is connected to all Biblical laws/guidance per Mathew 5:18.
