Federal law requires a front bumper be capable of withstanding impact up to 5 mph without damage, and 2.5 mph for a rear bumper.

Accordingly, all new cars should be computer limited to 5 mph in forward motion and 2.5 mph in rearward motion as a matter of safety. THINK OF THE CHILDREN!!!

We don't like that. The rate of distrust toward politician in France is very high. Just to remember, the french election is a two turn election, one with a dozen of candidates, and the second with the one with the two highest score at the first. Macron had 24 %, but it represent barely 20 % of all people with the right to vote.

Maybe one day we will give some fresh air to the national widow, I doubt that would be usefull however.

No one gives a **** what the french do as it regards american law.

    We literally do not care.

What further controls can we take for gun safety? Repealing the nfa and hughes amendment to fopa along with the GCA.

If you reduce all speed limits to zero, you will totally eliminate vehicle deaths. If you totally eliminate guns, you will NOT totally eliminate deaths due to violence.

You would eliminate deaths from guns.

You wouldn't eliminate all deaths from speed limits because people will still die from tripping over.

we could eliminate deaths by eliminating illegal immigration but lefties here help that. We could also eliminate deaths by making abortion illegal but lefties here kill more defenseless humans before weve had our morning coffee every day than the most prolific mass shooter you can name. Where is your outrage? Ill await you to disprove your own thread for me.

If you forbidd guns, you wouldn't absolutely not eliminate deaths from gun. A lot of people get shot in France, despite it's hard to have legally a gun. By the way most people aren't shot by legal guns. However we have less murder than the USA. I think it's partly too because we tend to have a less violent culture.

You traded liberty and freedom for CCTV.

You are a specimen under the scope and you call it living.

Those that trade Freedom and Liberty for a False Security, deserve neither.

Perhaps she means as in the case of an old Patrolman, Miles Cunningham, he tripped over a shoe one morning, while putting on his uniform, fell backwards and broke his neck and died, that kind of tripping.

Yes, unfortunately. I'm born in the beginning of the 90's and I almost don't remember Francs. It's ironic because the switzerland use still the franc swiss and in Africa they use a money called the "Franc CFA". So there is a lot of places using Francs but not France.

Which means what? For example, Britain isn't liberal democratic (its poverty rate is very high and social immobility rivals the US).

Then you have no clue about the Constitution, but worry not, many very good Pro Gun Lawyers will agree with you on that point.

We have the Second Amendment on the Right to keep and bear Arms too, and you get many that deny that Right.
Gun licenses, so is a handgun / concealed carry a Right or a Priveledge ?

    Please Define a Priveledge.
    Please Define a Right.

owning a gun is like free speech or freedom of religion

those are rights, driving is a privilege

now some do want to say you have to have the privilege to have a right, that just turns rights into privileges imo

I do not believe anyone should have to have a license to conceal carry... I think that violates the constitution

Probably accounts for why guns are so often used against family members. "Its just a right"

    More Fatuous baloney.

No more than having a penis gives you a Right to Rape anyone, a Right is not a License to commit a Crime, something only a simpleton is going to argue.

If you use a Right to violate another's Rights, it is a Crime.
If however, in the U.S.A. you use a Right to defend yourself from attack, and you are found justified as in not being the aggressor, then you would not be charged with a Crime.
