That may be, India too. But China already cut half of the purchase of oil from Iran. India become the biggest winner in Iran oil contract. But I still not sure that's the reason. I think more likely it's because America is about to attack Iran in two weeks, Iran may close the strait that cause the price of the gas go up.
Hmmm, you were the one who posted about Bush first. Now you don't want to talk about it. You really need to get a better game. failure.
What other reasons can you explain that why do we have to suffer the high gas price for the last 10 years? Not Bush, not Obama, not China, not India, not Iran?
I already told you the reason is speculation. Bush administration deregulated the commodities exchange and we've been paying obscenely high energy prices since.
Sorry, I missed that. I didn't see the entire thread. So, it is partly Bush's fault that we are still suffering. We are still haunted from the past.
Conservatives have been saying this for years. They are bound to get it right one of these days. Today is more then likely not the day.
ive got news for a lot of you people, the trend for oil prices is up and will be up for the indefinite future. This is regardless of war, new Presidents or anything else. The fact is that the world has reached peak oil, demand has equalled or outstripped supply and any new methods of extracting oil are extremely expensive. Cheap fossil fuel is gone, get used to it and adjust your lifestyles accordingly.
When I was a kid ( 1968 ), gasoline was .35/gallon. My cousin had a '67 GTO with the new 400 engine, and a Hurst "his & hers" shifter on the automatic. That thing drank fuel like a frat boy drinks beer at a kegger! But oh Gawd was it fun!
yes i would be greedy too but the people must know the motive behind rising oil prices the bankers like romney speculate the price up and make money when the 99 percent has to pay more money at the pump the President is not responsible he uses taxpayer money to invest in alternative energy like solyndra
Libs screamed at Bush when he was president and gasoline prices were high. Now its Obama's turn. But unlike Bush high energy prices are actually the GOAL of Obama so he can hardly deny culpability when his policies are succeeding.
I note with interest that your post has been almost completely ignored. We could have been working on new energy methods, ironing out the kinks etc... but Oh no, lets ignore it and pass it to the next generation, only global population has put pay to the "next generation" idea - we have to deal with it ourselves.
The second gas price spike in Obama's tenure.... and the politically expedient leftist scum/MSM water carriers who viciously attacked/laid blame on GWB for the spike during his administration.... are, very predictibly.... deafeningly mute.
Let's not forget that electric rates have climbed by 50% since January 2009. And that's in states with regulated rates.
It makes us much better because Bush is no longer in office. We cannot blame him for current high gas prices when Obama is the president. Which makes it Der Furher's turn to sit on the hot seat.
