OK, now hold on just a second. People on the left are correct to support this pill for young women [menstruation age on just to be sure]. Would you rather these girls get back-alley abortions or merely take a pill that prevents implantation of the egg just hours after the girl is either raped or coerced into sex? I love how guys of any age group horn dog out on girls and then as soon as the girl gets in trouble all the fingers point at her as the cause of it all. She bears all the brunt of spontaneous sex, be it coerced, rape or consent. A male making a girl pregnant is like a doctor inducing a medical condition that can be life-threatening to the girl.

If we want our young women to grow up to be intelligent productive citizens instead of baby machines on the dole or graces of others, or starving like in 3rd world countries, we allow them leeway to make the "corrections" for the mistakes they AND some guy made. The alternative is abortion, often later term too because young women are notoriously delerious when it comes to knowing the early signs of being pregnant.

And if the right is so gung-ho on making every single fertilized egg turn into an child, then adult, then they'd better enact healthcare and a financial support system for these young mothers because even if the "guy" who got her into the situation wants to support her, there aren't enough jobs to go around. The morning after pill is THE perfect compromise. Any righty who is so fundamentally puritan to object even to an egg passing through a girl's body is so nuts that they should be taxed extra to pay for all the unwanted children who will need clothes, food, healthcare, schooling, college ....$$$$
