GAY PRIDE BURGER coming to a town near you???

The American Family Association’s Bryan Fischer voiced his concern on Friday over the idea that a new Burger King item honoring LGBT Pride events in San Francisco could be sold in other parts of the country, Right Wing Watch reported.

“If this isn’t bottled up in San Francisco, this kind of nonsense, then it’s going to be spreading across the entire fruited plain,” Fischer complained. “And you’re going to be going to your Burger King in Des Moines, Iowa and you’re going to have a rainbow color wrapper for your Whopper.”

The burger chain featured the “Proud Whopper” earlier this month at one San Francisco location, bearing rainbow-colored packaging and the phrase, “We are all the same inside” on the inside of the wrapper. The company also posted a video of people ordering and reacting to the promotion.

He used the words fruited plain in the same sentence as gay burger? If these guys only knew what jokes they were.

And here's the new meme: a rainbow color wrapper for your Whopper. Yeah Bryan, I've used a few of those in my lifetime.

Yep! There are PRIORITIES and then there are PRIORITIES.

(Having said that, there's a lot of science on the use of colors to surround food with, packaging, plates, print ads, etc. Bottom line, I'd have to see the wrapper, rainbow colors and hamburgers--not so much. The saying is great though, WE ARE ALL THE SAME INSIDE).

Since BK feels the need to insert itself into the support of homosexual sex then I've eaten my last Whopper. If they decide to be equal and put something for heterosexuals or Christians then I'll go there again

 

Yes because heterosexual Christians are so discriminated against that they need the moral support of burger king to help turn around such persecution.

Once you decide to put a wrapper which shows support of homosexual sex, that is a very specific statement

a wrapper with a very specific message. They chose to convey that very specific message which means support of the lifestyle

I provided pictures which show the stark contrast between 2 lifestyles. BK chose homosexual so as a business they are choosing to show support for one specific sexual lifestyle vs just being generic with a generic wrapper.

What's next? Maybe a Harvey Milk cup which would be supporting homosexual sex by adult males with 16 year old boys

At the risk of getting 'LEGAL' here Aren't Burger Kings franchised?? Is a franchise owner in Des Moines gonna have to put a "(*)(*)(*)-wrapper" on the burgers he sells? I mean we are talking CAPITALISM here. My neighbor was a LOBBYIST for the fast food industry--they spend BILLIONS on lobbying. My community (RAGING RED REPUBLICAN) voted 3 times to keep a McDonalds from opening up near a congested street. GUESS WHO WON??

Yeah, this one is a real turn off. Restaurants shouldn't be sending these kind of messages...just serve food. It was bad enough when it happened just as a 1 week-in 1 city thing....but if they're going to roll this out further, and run on that new "be your way" slogan...I'll pass. As much as I like some of BK's offerings, I'll take the extra 10 minute drive to Wendys or hit McDonalds.

Making sandwiches around being Gay? Yeah...thats stepping too far for me BK.

Sorry bout my post. Was wrong. I came on this site pretty neutral on most. Im strong 2 nd amend. Dont hate anyone race, sexuality, color for cryin out loud. But some of these left posters really get under my skin. And instead of contributing to any kind of deba i lash out and sometimes aim to hurt. So sorry. I think our entire gov. And the country is like this. And i wonder could a start to a solution be a simple sorry. Lets talk and come together for a solution to some big problems. I think most americans want the same things pretty much... R's and D's ... blues n reds just keep us fightin. Peace
