That is all fluf. Women and children die, yea its sad but all boils down to the fact that Hamas shoots rockets indiscriminately against Israel too. And the people let it happen. They have done this time and time again. They had an chace for a cease fire, Hamas broke that. 2nd Israel lets the people know that they are coming and warns them, Hamas does not. This can all be given a quick summary here, don't shoot rockets in to Israel and Israel will not drop bombs on you.

 

I agree. Israel could wipe out Gaza in weeks and do it easily too. They have shown so much restraint on this matter. IF it where me, I could have gone in there with CATs and just leveled Gaza. I wonder how fast people would change their mind if Mexico started to shoot rockets or even Canada

Israel is tired of playing defense. They are taking the fight to the aggressor on HIS turf, just like the US did in WWII. How many civilians died in WWII? Did anyone give advance notice to any European town? Don't hold Israel to higher standards than everyone else. They are being attacked by a group that is on the terrorist list which was democratically voted in by the Palestinians to be their spokesman. To me, that means that they are terrorists too.

 

50 million people died or disappeared during WW2 and nobody in their right mind can blame the Jewish people for running away from the Nazis.. The real issue is how they behaved once they found sanctuary in Palestine and the affect of the Jews who had lived in the Arab world for 2500 years.
