Which doesn't excuse the unnecessary need for him to exit his vehicle and initiate an encounter... especially if it's recommended that you don't exit your vehicle. A potentially innocent man wouldn't be standing trial, and a kid wouldn't have died that night... pretty sound.

 

I don't believe in god, but many people do, and if those are Zimmerman's sincere theological views, there's nothing stupid about stating what he did about god. Lots of people think that everything that happens is god's will.

As for saying that he wouldn't do anything differently, do you SERIOUSLY think that he should have said the opposite on national TV (even if that was the case, and it's almost certainly not) and handed the prosecution ammunition?
