Yes they are. Do you think they want to end capitalism? Show us how rational you are.

Bernie is a self avowed socialist. Are you unaware of that?

"DEMOCRATIC" Socialist. I'll bet you don't even know what that is. Show me one instance of him or anyone else among Democrats saying they want to end capitalism.

Implementing socialism by itself ends capitalism

So which Democrat is a SOCIALIST? It isn't Bernie. You're failing big here Joe. Seems you don't know what a "democratic socialist" is and really don't care, and that is making you completely wrong.

Did you miss the part where he EXPLAINED IT and said he was a "democratic socialist in the tradition of FDR"?

Can you tell me the difference between a "socialist" and a "democratic socialist"? It' pretty major, Joe.

Democratic socialism is socialism with a twist. You can vote in socialism but it takes a gun to get out of it.

Democrats simply hate our constitutional republic. That's why they continuously attack it with their socialist attacks.

Actually its not major at all. One is bottom up socialism while the other is in the top down Stalinist version. Ultimately they both want the same things and end up at the same place.

You flunk. Google could have made you right. But no. You apparently prefer spin it rather than be correct.

So it's consistent. Even in this the right just can't dare tell the truth. It's more important for them to oppose, oppose, oppose, and to spin, spin, spin, --fully willing to risk being found out to be wrong and irrelevant rather than develop a new reputation for being correct. Being correct is of zero importance to them, and that is why everyone else opposes them on every issue.

As I said, even Google will show who's right on this. You don't even have to consider the several countries that are democratic socialist and think about their economic system. How easier could it be?!!!

Again the right proves it's willing to be wrong in order to do their job of opposing everything. LOL!!! Sad.

Nice rant Kode. You should take your own advice.

Why don't you post something from an outside source regarding the difference between socialism and democratic socialism.

Is it because they are very much alike?

    https://www.differencebetween.com/difference-between-socialism-and-democratic-socialism/

The key difference between Socialism and Democratic Socialism is that Socialism emphasizes equality in the society while Democratic Socialism emphasizes equality in a democratic state. Moreover, Democratic Socialism is a branch of Socialism.

Both these theories focus on equality and equity among individuals in common ownership of production. Overall, the main aim of these concepts is to create economic equality.

Keep reading. But then you would need to understand what you're reading and let it sink in.
    Socialism
is a socio-economic system in which the working class owns and directs the means of production: the businesses. Private profits are banned.

Democratic socialism is a socio-economic system in which the main economic structure is capitalism: private ownership of the MoP for private profits.

The insult is in the eye of the beholder here. I saw it as insulting when you said "Nice rant Kode. You should take your own advice" but I ignored it and pushed on. If you're actually interested in knowing the difference in the two systems you will push on too.

    Fair enough.

I read the entire article. And I comprehended it.

The key take away? "Democratic Socialism is a branch of Socialism."

Seems to me socialist Progressives don't want to be honest about their end game.

When you combine the "wish list" it's socialism by anyone's definition.

I can understand why they want to hide that fact.

LOL!!! As I said, you need to comprehend, especially regarding the green and blue boxed definitions, which I previously elaborated. So you either choose to see it or you don't.

It means "capitalism is a branch of socialism".

It means "private ownership of the MoP for private profit is a branch of worker ownership that banns private profit".
