I thought we were talking about an insurrection. What is the difference bt an insurrection and an armed insurrection? Is it like the difference bt a robbery and an armed robbery?

    Which illegal changes?

    What cheating?

    What was undone?

    Totally, Bro'...

Trump really Won the Pop. Vote by 100 Million, Won Cali by 10 Million, and Trump Swept the EC 538-0 (with 95% of the vote in DC).

EXCEPT-- For all of that Hella Fraud...

    Sure thing...:bored:

Anyway, back on-topic to Hawley and the OP, Hawley obviously has a screw loose.
I am stunned that anybody would care about Hawley's "opinion" about anything.

What tripe...! Tell the cops that were beaten and killed that there was no violence!

These were gutless traitors who now want to whine that “we were only joking!” Anyone who wants to support them should hang their heads in shame....

List them by name. I am aware of one cop who died later OF UNRELATED NATURAL CAUSES AS EVIDENCED BY THE AUTOSPY REPORT.

The lunatic left have been crying about the Brian Sicknick "murder" for 4 months now. They pretend like we don't have access to the Washington DC's chief medical examiners report.
    1. No evidence of an allergic reaction to chemical irritants
    2. No evidence of internal or external injuries
    3. Death caused by two strokes A DAY AFTER the event.

This of course does not matter a bit to the left. Evidence and data are irrelevant when you are participating in a religion. It is less than pointless to post out actual data and yet here I am doing it again. I guess I am always a bit intrigued on how the left will rationalize away evidence with peak level conspiracy theorizing.

You might want to do a search on child birthday party shootings. There have been at least three in the last month with more shootings and deaths.

Strange how all these gun owning insurrectionist forgot their guns the day they decided to stage a violent uprising.

I never said anything about a shooting. So, Jan. 6th was one big child's birthday party. You live in a bad section of town.

    Get real.

The Federal government has no power to stop State Elections.
Weird. Seems like there are far more "open carry" "concealed carry" and "shall issue" states than there were then. Rush Limbaugh, when he was in Sacramento, had to be followed by this lady named Christine Craft, that no one liked, so she could rant for an equal amount of time in order to satisfy the "fairness" doctrine. And, we got all our news from 3 nightly newscasts and the newspaper. Rarely do I remember anyone telling the federal government: "you can't do that, it's unconstitutional." Now everytime the government starts to do something, the first question is: "Can they do that? Is it Constitutional?" Just a decade ago, Nancy Pelosi laughed when asked if Obamacare was a constitutional exercise of authority. She thought the question was a joke. No more. She now hears the question, at least weekly.

Now, those advances are balanced against a LOT of lost ground against overreaching federal agencies and deeply intrusive surveillance and democrat coordination with NorCal Social Media companies and a deeply questionable election where state and local officials, arrogating authority, changed election law so that wholesale fraud could occur and be very difficult to detect, but, the Courts are straightening that out as well as the State Legislatures, and we will likely have a fairly clean election by 2022. Some Dems hate clean elections, and for obvious reasons.

Keep your ears open for comments on the "Chevron Defense" by the Supreme Court - that's the precedence has allowed this massive power grab by Executive Branch Agencies. And watch Gorsuch. He just led the charge to invalidate a Federal Action over the preposition "a" and whether A NOTICE meant "one" or "multiple". The majority wrote that A means "one" not "multiple" and invalidated the federal action. Seems unimportant, but, Gorsuch is a stickler for understanding that EVERY law and action by government is a removal of our inherent right to make our own choice, and if the government is going to do it, by golly they are going to do it right, or get it tossed for a rework.

If the Legislature means "multiple" then they damn well will have to redraft this law and draft it with the word "multiple" because "A" doesn't mean "multiple". We haven't had this kind of Court oversight over Federal action, in my lifetime.

All is not lost! Stay in the fight! We are doing better than some folks think!

Federal troops and barbwire around our Federal capitol is not the sign of confidence, in fact, it's the opposite. I predict that both leave after the GOP regains the majority in 2022 and Crazy Nancy is packed off to CA to enjoy her expensive ice cream.

You can't even count out the Golden State this go around: Caitlyn Is Easily the Greatest Jenner Since Bruce.
Check out her 3 minute campaign ad at the link. I don't know who her media team are, but that's one hell of a fine piece of political messaging.

Hawley's right about Big Tech, but, we need the House to move the ball, and we are in the process of getting it.

Don't ask me, ask the lying clowns of Pelosi and the Fake News Media who repeated called a bunch of unarmed trespassers an "armed insurrection".

I guess that makes sense but not being armed does not mean an insurrection didn't tale place.

    That aside...

"Arms" are weapons right? So even using a Trump flag to beat police would qualify it as a weapon. Squashing a cop into a door as he screams in pain probably makes the door a weapon.

Here is a question. The rope the insurrectionists wanted to hang pence with; is that a weapon? I will let you make the call on that one.

I guess Pelosi and the media were not lying.

The truth is never hyperbole. Saying otherwise isn't very honest.

A real hyperbole is someone making a claim about a stolen election and then never capable of offering a single shred of evidence.

And then spends several posts dodging and deflecting about not being able to post any evidence of a stolen election.

Why won't you back up your hyperbole of a stolen election?

Executive orders are not real laws.
Any president can stop an executive order.

    They don't understand word definitions.
I bet they all think weapon = gun or other firearms so therefore, there were no weapons at the riot of the USA Capitol.

    A law.
    Not 'the' law.

There's a difference. Most know about there being more than 1 law.

No. He might be the next AG but if Trump doesn’t run, I think a De Santis-Scott ticket in either order to be the best.

Not so fast. There is a VAST difference between insurrection, which is a felony with up to a ten year prison term and trespassing, a petty misdemeanor, which is what nearly everyone has been charged with. The folks calling this a insurrection, are liars, including Nancy Pelosi, who calls it an "armed insurrection" even though it was neither. She's a big fat liar.
Performance Art. If they were truly trying kill Pence, they would have charged attempting to assassinate the Vice President of the United States, but, no such charges have been filed, because once again, it's just another steaming pile of crap from the lying Fake News Media.
    Oh no. They are liars.

See, these folks can spout off crap and hurl it in all directions, but prosecutors have to deal in facts and evidence. And after weighing the facts and evidence, no attempted assassination charges, no weapons charges, just a lot of petty misdemeanors.

    First some ground work:

You are trying to claim that some sort of foul has occurred because someone holds a different opinion and openly says so. This is America. We have that right. It can piss you off, it can bother you, but, they still have the right to their opinion and to voice it.

The Left deliberately circumvented the State Legislatures to ensure that cheating could occur and be very difficult to detect.
The folks in Left Wing cities, counting the votes, deliberately circumvented observation by GOP poll watchers. They even told them that the counting had stopped and then once they left hauled trunks of ballots out from under tables and ran them through the machines, who knows how many times?

In other areas, GOP poll watchers were locked out, if they left for any reason, had to go to the bathroom, get a drink of water, they were not allowed re-entry.

In other areas, the windows of counting areas were covered up with wall board.

Now, and I don't understand why this escapes you, when those kinds of activities are engaged in the claimed outcome is not logically compelling. It simply isn't. I'm under absolutely no moral obligation to accept them as legitimate. Not a smidge. Zero. None.

I join you in your desire for logically compelling results. Signature verification, voter ID, water marks on ballots, trustworthy chain of custody procedures, observed counting, those are the safeguards that will result in trustworthy, logically compelling results.

Here, a thought experiment to help you if you are still struggling with this concept:

    i) Say you and I have a bag of money and we both entitled to half. We are supposed to count it together, but, you have to step out for a moment and I lock the door. I then "count" the money and then open the door and give you what I claim is your "half" but, I won't let you count my half. You have no grounds to question my claim, why, you have no proof that I didn't give you every cent you are entitled to! If I don't agree that you gave me all of my share, well, "I'm being dishonest, because I have no proof!" And of course, that's horseshit, my act of preventing you from properly auditing the split is evidence that the split is unfair, and certainly my claim that it's a fair split is in no sense logically compelling at all.

We have a long standing legal doctrine known as "spoliation", that is, if one party in a dispute fails to preserve evidence, the court presumes that if that evidence still existed that it would undermine the position of the person who failed to preserve it. This is much the same. It is those that prevented proper identification of voters, and prevented the proper verification of the counts that caused the result to lack legitimacy, and that's too bad, but, that is the just result of their actions. There will be a cloud over these election results that will persist until we have a, clearly, free and fair election.

I read that book Behold A Pale Horse when it came out in 1991. I also met Bill Cooper later in the ‘90s in Tucson. He was a nice guy and had some interesting ideas. Damn shame he got gunned down. His belief was that this planet was terraformed and owned by alien races which are still represented here on earth in various secret societies. I guess that’s about as believable as the biblical god who supposedly made the earth out of thin air in 7 days and sent his kid down to die for us before we were born. What a huge guilt trip!
