Aea defender. A particular interest to me because I can legally conceal carry this and it does look lethal. Two shots of 9 mm or 45 caliber slugs fired by about 4,500 lb of air pressure.

their posts here suggest they have problems with private citizens owning firearms. is there any other interpretation that makes sense?

Rob Vogel is generally seen as the best speed shooter in Ohio nowadays. Taran Butler has been good for years.

Their goal is to make them look super dangerous and people handling them look very stupid.

I actually appreciate them posting those videos because all they are doing is demonstrating the guns are perfectly safe unless you violate one or two Cardinal rules.

Those videos actually need to be seen by everyone so they can serve as great examples about what you don't do with one

He's absolutely correct. I recently watched the video of a man using a j frame snub nose to strike dinner plate size targets out to 100 yards on a pretty damn regular basis.

Especially that little short sight radius is very sensitive to jerking the finger.

Even plinking with an air pistol I can tell when I have pulled the shot at a can at 20 ft which I will hit 92% of the time maybe.

Just a little twitch right when that trigger breaks can translate to an easy couple inch Miss at that distance

I know lots about 22 pistols. My wife and son shoot steel events with them. My wife started with a SW M&P . She shot it until it failed-sent it back. they sent her a new one, Rinse and repeat. Then she went to a Smith and Wesson Victory. It worked well-the first one went back for rehab-it's now used by two girls I coach in archery who also like steel shooting. I got my wife a pair of Volquartzen expensive custom rigs-one just came back from rehab. My son has a pair two-he wins most of the times he shoots that division. I find the most durable though is a no longer made CZ Kadet. Ruger and Buckmarks are also really durable as well.

Videos like these are simply heart warming.
Anytime someone decides to come stick a gun in someone's face or break into their home they need to have a very healthy fear that the same thing might just happen to them.

I mean..... that's what a Darwin Award is......

But then, dark humor is like food: Not everyone gets it.

As far as the guy shooting himself, accidents happen.

In the video with the people getting beat up by recoil, most of them were tricked into shooting a gun that they didn't have enough experience to handle. People who set those situations up are *******s.

Believe it or not, but some gun owners are incredibly stupid / irresponsible- to a point where they let teen age girls (or idiots) fire their guns when they are fully aware they don't know anything about guns. And some buy guns without any knowledge of firearm safety.

Yes, everyone should see the videos.

    Not at all.

As a matter of fact the "Darwin Awards" video series is produced by someone he is seriously into guns, but he is not into defending idiots guns, which is the very reason he produced the videos.

Videos of "fails" are funny. In the meanwhile, Fatback posted a video of people actually getting shot, and he said it was heartwarming.

Yes, and often we call that a darwin award. When you're too stupid to reproduce.

People who set up the situations are *******s, yes. So are the people who don't investigate what they'll be doing with a dangerous instrumentality before they start using it.

It's incredibly heartwarming to see people using their legally owned guns to legally defend their self against violent criminal attack.

All violent criminals should have that fear of God put into them.

Note to moderators.... I am in no way shape or form encouraging violence.

But I do encourage people to legally defend themselves anytime they are being victimized.

Maybe you can visit a State prison and watch executions if death warms your heart.

Sadly it's a little bit too far north for me to make the trip.

You seem Disturbed at the thought that the common citizen can use armed self-defense are you also against the death penalty?

Maybe its worth the ride if it warms your heart.

Not at all, I support the citizens right to defend themselves. But then again, you already knew that. I have told you that I own guns and will use in self defense if needed. If that happens, it will be the last resort, and it would certainly not warm me heart (aka take pleasure in it).

Have you heard me rave against it? Executions do not warm my heart, if that's what you mean.
