But for the sake of argument how many crimes are stopped per year by armed citizens? I'm asking because a guy named Kleck in '93 claimed 2.5 million a year. That's 6849 a day. That's unrealistic so how many do you say......for arguments sake.

The hard part is quantifying how many FUTURE armed robberies this thug WOULD HAVE committed, had this homeowner not ended his crime wave early. He had a long violent record, was 24 years old. If you think this gun owner had no effect on violent crime, then you're delusional.

 

That's BS, the group that hopes for more gun deaths-especially that of innocent children (they don't seem to care much about inner city blacks killing each other in Democrat run cities like DC and Chicago)-are the gun banners. Its what they use to bludgeon debate and silence pro gun advocates.

 

So can you explain why there are more child gun deaths in states with fewer gun laws? Why America has a child death rate from firearms higher than any country not an active war zone

 

That is just not true, Vermont with fewer firearms Regulations has fewer children dying from firearms related causes, as you go down the list of States with less firearms Regulations other than the Federal UBC, the instant check system and filling out the 4473 form, there are few children dying from firearms related causes.

However, in NYC, and Washington DC, Los Angeles CA, Chicago, Maryland, all bastions of Draconian Gun Control, you will find the numbers of children dying from firearms related causes to be very high.

Highest concentration of deaths of children is seen in inner city slums, and those children end up in the ERs of major city hospitals, shootings related to Gang turf wars and other Drug related activities.

It is called collateral damage related to Criminal activities and hence why trying to associate violence with legitimate law abiding citizens that own firearms is disengenuous.
