How they will leave this Country if Trump becomes POTUS. Never happened.Just like it would never happen for Hollywood to cast Chris Farley in the biggest blockbuster of Tom Hanks career. That being - Sleepless in Seattle - { 1993 } The movie that bowled-over a nation and assured Tom Hanks career would be going places.Not so much his co-star Meg Ryan.Just enough to keep her onboard that Hollywood Elite gravy train.On account she became typecast and doomed in typical Hollywood fashion.Not so with Tommy Boy Hanks.Who can on cue make us laugh or cry or seem stern as in with his very Patriotic and brash cocky voice.Put Hanks in a cowboy outfit and on a horse and it instantly would make for a fitting role in a Mel Brooks comedy.They { Hollywood} tried it with Jack lemmon to almost No effect. - Cowboy - { 1958 } was forgotten almost as fast as the movie reviews mounted.No sot fast with Lemmon's Military Movies.- Operation Mad Ball - {1957 } which was made the previous year was a hoot,but it starred Ernie Kovacs as well. Then there was the classic Military Comedy - The Wackiest Ship in the Army - { 1960 } to this day remains a classic.But then it had a virtual all star cast. Great characters and script. Tommy Hanks has a great list of Hollywood characters to back him up if he decides to go political with this case of Coronavirus.I mean,what are the chances " Americas Dad " won't.Or would hesitate.He does owe Hollywood Big Time.
