So? I am not sure why anyone wouldn’t comply. Your property, your choice. It would be anyone’s choice to not visit your property or do business in your store. I see no problem. When my dog was on the top side of the dirt, I knew places that didn’t allow dogs. No problem, I frequented those that did. My dog wanted to sue for discrimination, but I informed him the BOR didn’t extend to him.
That's funny because my last dog didn't give a sh*t. I'd tie her up outside and she'd have a great time getting patted by everybody who walked by. Then when I came out I'd untie her and we'd be off again together as usual. Pretzel, the greatest dog I ever had.
Funny. Some people hold their dogs in high esteem, almost as they do their children; I am guilty of that with the black lab I had. I can argue and bore people all day with stories of why I considered my dog a superior buddy. He was a great magnet for children and deserved dog sainthood for the abuse he happily withstood at their hands.
You just repeated exactly what I said. For that matter, you can tell me to leave for just about anything unless it's a protected class thing (race, gender, etc.). But unless you have x-ray vision, you'll never know I'm carrying. And in this State, your cute little "Gun Free Zone" sign means nothing. That statement, however, is not true of all States. Sadly.
Provided the notice on the property held by yourself is posted in accordance with all applicable laws, which depending on the state, may include notices posted at all entrances and exits in an easy to notice manner, along with providing adequate security measures to insure the requirement is actually complied with by those entering and making use of the premises.
