Not a fair comparison.....the United States citizenry and gun ownership goes hand in hand on a positive note.

The fact that a very small percentage of US citizens/individuals here have abused gun ownership for harmful purposes does not give the Government/Liberals/MSM the right to paint gun ownership with the broad brush of irresponsibility. Which they have.

What should be happening is the Government/MSM and Liberals should be pushing very hard for families to educate their offspring respect for the tool called a GUN.
If you do not educate the youth about ownership and respect for Guns ( A Tool ), then you end up with the problem for example what we have in Chicago...

Education is the Solution

Not Confiscation.

A Government only confiscates the weapons when its citizens can no longer trust the Government.

And the Majority of UNITED STATES Citizens no longer trust the Government.

I do not agree with everything Ronald Reagan stated, if he stated the above......

I have never seen ANY human derived weapon ...from a rock to a thermal nuclear weapon that is harmful unless HUMAN interaction is involved. Period.

Secondly, the human has to be educated as to the purpose/usage of the weapon before any intentional harm can be done.

An AK-47 can sit loaded for centuries and not harm a soul, but once the use is derived and intent is put forth will it become a " Weapon ".

 

Well, Clinton is not suggesting confiscation. So that kind of undercuts whatever point you were trying to make.

If Hillary gets elected I do not trust her to appoint justices that will uphold the constitution. This may be the most important issue, Supreme Court justices.

We will feel the rippling effect of the court for perhaps the entirety of our lifetime.
