Hello all, my name is Greg. I am a 25 year old person on the planet earth. I live within the landmass known as North America. I love pizza. 1. I am constantly hoping for some sort of global extinction, or at least the riddance of our species, because as Bill Hicks so accurately summed it up, "We're a virus with shoes." 2. I think the idea that some organisms can live in opulence, weather rightfully earned or not, while others of the same species live in famished poverty, is contradictory to what the American dream and the social contract is all about. 3. I will never be able to understand why some people, mostly Republicans but surely some others as well, will not accept gays/blacks/poor people/hippies/muslims.
Welcome to the forum. Not a Republican, but it seems that those who keep your aforementioned groups in their nice little niches by labeling them other than human beings and allocating group pork/bribes/stipends/welfare, are those who do not accept them into mainstream, but rather keep them segregated by feeding them the non acceptance nonsense.
Do you like Sicilian pizza with fresh scamotz and anchovy? Hi johnmuir4life and welcome to the forum.
Because these demographics make Republicans (mostly white people over 50 without college degrees) feel scared, and "those people" sometimes have fun in ways that make them feel icky, or guilty, because their pastor/minister/preist said not to do that Welcome to the forum....and fasten your seatbelts....there are plenty of conservative media victims posting here
But I thought you didn't like Muslims, gays, blacks, poor people, and hippies?, you sure have so many derogatory things to say about them........if I'm mistaken, and you do approve of those demographics, I stand corrected!.... btw...we should probably not be addressing each other on this thread....it's an introduction thread, and I wasn't singling any one poster out with my comments.
I do have some problems with some of those groups, but as a 28 year old atheist, your broad brush was a nice fail on your part. Oh well. Might as well give the new guy a taste of the back and forth that goes on between liberals and conservatives on a daily basis.
