You’re picking and choosing rights. If you can’t understand that both are rights listed in the constitution than it’s your reading skills that needs to be adjusted not mine.

What part of “rights should be restored to felons” indicates to you that I am speaking of not also giving back their right to own a firearm?

You have created a strawman and are upset that I will not defend it. I think it is far worse than reading skills and goes more to basic comprehension and integrity.

Why? My view is that if someone is too lazy, apathetic, or unformed to actually add value to our elections, I don't want them voting. If they can't be bothered to get up off their dead lazy asses and into their voting precinct on Election Day (speaking of course of non-disabled individuals) then as far as I've concerned, they've forfeited their right to vote on purpose.

Well at least you have the integrity to admit you desire to implement artificial barriers for American citizens you have deemed unworthy to vote. Kudos to you.

Personally I think all Americans should be able to vote as easily and conveniently as possible, and while I would love to have the fascist anti-democratic self proclaimed patriots be met with a basic knowledge test basically barring them from protesting in a process they wish to destroy, I would never advocate for such.

Exactly reminiscent of Obamacare which began as a senate amendment to a completely unrelated house bill. The first sentence of the amendment read, 'every word in this bill is hereby deleted.'

They do that to themselves. All they have to do is stand up, walk/bike/drive/uber/bus/whatever from their residence to the voting precinct, and fill out their ballot. Instead you would have democratic party operatives show up at their home and literally fill in their ballots for them, under the actually reasonable theory that persons who are that lazy will more likely be democratic voters because democrat politicians promise them free money.

The Shell Bill maneuver is pathetic.

Democrats' Fight For Voting Rights Is A Fake Issue
    [IMG]

"Democratic leaders have gone all in on trying to gaslight the American people..."
    She's a liar.
Gallup "released a poll on Friday that showed even Democrats have soured on 117th Congress."

"According to the poll, approval of Congress among Democrats now stands at a meager 26 percent."

If they can't steal the election, they are going to get drubbed by the voters. All this shrieking is some Dems trying to evade their deserved reckoning from those they refuse to represent.
