NOPE. Cruz acquired his citizenship once he met the requirement of living in US jurisdiction for a set amount of time prior to becoming 16 YO. A lot of this stuff which comes to haunt a President like Obama this birther issue have their origins in the primaries. In this case by the Clinton campaign. I remember back to 1988 over the Willie Horton ads the Democrats pillared Bush about. But it was found that Al Gore first used Willie Horton in his radio ads during the primaries against Dukakis. The Republicans just latched onto it.

No natural born citizen can lose his citizenship. Ted Cruz had to meet the requirements of Section 301(b), Cruz entered the US at age 4 and has continuously lived here since, he has his 5 consecutive years hear between the age of 14 and 28. He received a US passport when he was 16. Had he not met the requirement, his citizenship would have been lost and he would not be considered a US Citizen.

Let me repeat that, NO natural born US Citizen can lose their citizenship, Cruz could have lost his had he not met the requirements.

The inside of your passport tells where you were born. My brother was born in Saudi Arabia in 1952 and his birth was registered at the US consulate within weeks.. He was "printed" and issued a US Passport .. He is considered a natural born US citizen... and so are the others.
