How Likely is Obama to Declare Martial Law for Power Grab?

And here's yet ANOTHER poll without any good choices....

Look, there won't be any attempt by Obama to stage a coup or anything to prevent Donald Trump from legitimately taking office. Obama will be more than happy to live a luxurious life in mansions beside golf courses with piles and piles of money for the rest of his life. He'll be adored and worshiped as the radical, Left-wing "Messiah" his ass-kissers have always thought he was, and when he chooses to "sing for his supper", he'll be paid millions and millions of dollars to make speeches full of such gems as, "uh", "ah", "um", and so on.

When you look at what the United States has suffered under both "W" Bush and Barack Obama, it is a sixteen year TRAGEDY of the first magnitude. It remains unclear that we will ever recover from the combined disasters of the RINO Bush Machine and the hyperliberal, Socialist-Lite, American bowel movement known as "Progressivism"....

I agree. I think he's tired of being president. I never thought of Obama as being power hungry but just needing to stroke his ego. Hillary was the one greedy for power and money. I don't think he wants to be president a day longer than he has to be.

 

Maybe you have been talking about this for years, but it is 100% nonsense. Obama is out of office the end of his term, though exactly unlike George W Bush, he intends to be a full attention whore and malcontent.

 

100% nonsense would be me believing I can grow a set of wings and fly off to the moon.

However, I'd not take too lightly the defeated Dems. All the talk on all the Leftist media outlets has been holding up the electoral vote on Dec 19th.

There really hasn't been this much division since the Election of 1860.

I am hardly the only one that can imagine the possibility of conflict in the coming months.

 

That's a different matter. I'm saying that Obama will not be declaring martial law and calling the election null and void before that date. I have no doubt there will be riots and protests on January 20.

 

Not likely. Hell, Bush issued and executive order saying he had the right to disband elections in the event of an emergency (also giving him the right to define what constitutes an 'emergency' and expending the designation to even include economic turmoil) and he still never did anything with it. I doubt Obama will be any different. I give it a 2% chance, and that's being extremely generous.

 

We can only watch. I will avoid such places as I normally do. Jan 20th will be a Friday Night so the timing could really not be much worse.
