Why people who had COVID should be vaccinated?
There is absolutely no scientific evidence that vaccine is better then natural immunity.
I guess when someone says ?science" that means "political science".

So what? Two wrongs don't make one right.
As of now with 674,000 deaths, Covid-19 has just surpassed the total of estimated deaths from the Spanish Flu in the United States, thus becoming the most deadly infectious disease outbreak in the history of this country.

These people are idiots and quacks. They don't deserve any attention. Being "doctors" doesn't mean they know what they are saying.

How exactly do we go about determining "truth"? And how do you prove it to people, when apparently you say the people on their side can't even be trusted to come to a rational conclusion objectively?

They can't. All of you anti-vaxxers are crazy, together with all the other conspiracy theorists, like the ones who say that this virus is man-made.
Every time I do look at what they claim, it contains the most egregious scientific mistakes, lies, and misrepresentations.
Just look at this thorough debunking of the man-made idiocy:
    https://medika.life/debunking-nicholas-wades-origin-of-covid-conspiracy-theory/
Similarly, the anti-vaxxers make ridiculous claims all the time (such as, it's gene therapy, gene editing, and will change the human DNA).
I no longer want to waste my time on them.
By the way, I only waste some of my time on you, because I think you're dangerous with the garbage you post, so I don't have you on Ignore, to counter your crap from time to time.

I think you're using a straw man now, and diverting the topic.

Why would he do that? How does that make any sense?

The vaccine doesn't protect you any more than having already been infected.

Let's see... October 3, 2020 he tested positive.
April 2021 the NY Times claims he got the vaccine.
Meaning he supposedly would have got the vaccine 7 months later.

Since the vaccine is not any more effective than actually having had the disease, I presume we should infer from this that the vaccine would stop becoming very effective after 7 months?

I'm just using a little bit of logic and inference here.

You, FreshAir, seem to be very adept at bringing up controversial things in a thread that tend to quickly derail discussions off-topic.
Maybe you should notice that pattern about yourself?

the vaccine targets the spikes, which makes it more likely it will affect future variants

Your predictions that all the Republicans are dying off is a product of your wishful imagination.

The left need to understand that vaccinated people and masked people spread the virus because their arrogance in only attacking the other side while THEY spread the virus, is leading to surges in cases.

I believe Israel is about the most vaccinated country in the world and experiencing a surge of COVID equal to those experienced in nations with much less vaccinations.
Read this morning that a black woman who was going to be singing the National Anthem at the opening game of the NFL season, won't be allowed to because she isnt vaccinated. Blacks and Hispanics are less likely to have been vaccinated. Along with those with a PHD. less likely to be vaccinated than the general public.

That seems like an exaggeration. More than 99% of people survive infection. Common sense is needed. The primary concern for the average non-vaxxer is severe side effects from the vaccine. Address that.

It's just plain stupid. If you afraid of a superspreader event then you shouldn't be letting in 80,000 fully vaccinated people because vaccinated people spread the virus. But, when the numbers start going up like wildfire, the left will still be blaming it all on the unvaccinated. Couldn't possibly be a stadium full of 80,000 vaccinated people, even when their own facts show that vaccinated people spread the virus.

    Trump got the vaccine

"Donald Trump recommends people to 'take the vaccine'"

Trump : "I recommend take the vaccines. I did it. It’s good. Take the vaccines"

we already know Trump lies, but he did get the vaccine, he did try to hide it from the public as he thought it made him look weak, but he got it

the lie in that speech was that he created the vaccines

Trump created warp speed after the vaccine was already in trials

And you know this how? Were you present at his injection?

Maybe he did. I cannot prove otherwise, but the record is clear that Trump is very much a showman.

With Operation Warp Speed, was he just keeping his friends in Pharma happy, or was there financial benefit to him personally?

How to convince people to get vaccinated?

Answer; By labelling anti-Vaxers as CRAZIES??????

    West Virginia Governor Jim Justice

“For God’s sake’s a-livin, how difficult is this to understand? Why in the world do we have to come up with these crazy ideas, and they’re crazy ideas, that the vaccines got something in it, and it’s tracing people wherever they go, and the same very people who are saying that are carrying their cell phone around....I mean Come on, Come on.

    ————-

Thank you Governor Jim Justice for labelling anti-Vaxxers as CRAZIES, because on this politicalforum site, it isn’t permissible.
