If you consider the top 20-25% in terms of net worth poor, then yeah, I must be poor. I could buy 1, maybe 2 illegals a home. Not 32,000, but 1 or 2. I've got space in my own home to put a couple up. But in no way am I going to do that. They don't belong here. But you go on with your bad, rich self and buy homes for 32,000 illegals. What are your plans when they all get deported?

It's strange how with just a signature the left would make me a criminal for owning something that never harmed anyone and they don't have a problem with that.

A person who was murdered by an illegal should still be alive today because that illegal never should have been here. How many times does this need to be explained?

Our illegal problem is artificial and the cost of right wing bigotry when they cannot justify a warfare-State economy any longer. There is no common defense issue on the border and we have no express immigration clause. Upgrading Ellis Island is a more equitable solution.

we should have no illegal problem in our republic if the general government did not indulge in sloth, in the faithful execution of our federal Constitution.

Its about time! I see lots of homeless in my town and none of them, curiously, are Hispanic. They are set up tidily in tax payer funded housing. Irks me to no end.

You seem to believe there are an unlimited number of jobs available in the US for people who are unskilled, uneducated, and in many cases can't speak English. Are these people coming to the US to compete for jobs or for free stuff?

Even if the people you talk about get jobs they will still receive welfare via tax "refunds" when they don't pay any taxes, i.e., via the EITC. What a system we have that allows people who don't pay taxes to get tax refunds. Adam Smith said that every person should contribute to the support of the State (pay taxes) but thanks to liberalism we are close to the point where 44% of the population contributes nothing. I blame fake conservatives as well. Both political parties spend money like drunken sailors.

Here is a book you should read.

In all fairness to drunken sailors, they're spending their own money.

    Bravo Trump :applause:

    Trump is correct, again.

Social services is a major problem with illegals.
People of a nation work to build their country with a standard of social programs and safety nets.
    Whether it is the Muslim's recent invasion of Europe because the borders were porous;
Or those coming to :flagus: illegally
people of a nation who invested their allegiance, taxation, etc. should not be
facing dilution of services by those who never invested nor are "entitled" to access.

    Secure The Borders!
    360 Degrees!

This is not in anyway to detract that Moi, as an individual,
supports his illegals and any private person, church or charity
should not be prevented from doing so too.

This is about using gov't resources.
    Not private.

So you think our federal government saddling our children with debt so it can take care of people who illegally came here is moral? The most important role for the government is to protect its own citizens. You have not raised a single point which would justify our taxes being used to turn America into this:

This is what you are advocating for in America and it is what you now have in California and other states that Democrats control. Democrats thrive on misery and if it does not exist somewhere they import it.

Ellis Island was deactivated over 65 years ago.

    FYI:
The vast majority of immigrants did not go through Ellis Island.

If your ancestors were Eastern or Southern European descent then they likely came through Ellis Island.

The largest ethnic group in America is German and these German immigrants port of entry was usually Philadelphia.

The next largest ethnic group in America are the Irish and most Irish immigrants port of entry was Boston.

    FYI:
1/3 of all immigrants who arrived in America before the IRA of 1965 didn't have what it took to be an American, the American pioneer spirit and with in a couple of years got on the boat and returned to their home country.

Before the 1960's there was no free stuff in America. There was no federal government welfare, no Aid to Dependent Children, no general relief, no WIC's, no government subsidized housing, no food stamps, no free healthcare at county hospitals, no Obama phones.

The best federal immigration act was the Immigration Act of 1924. It worked so well it lasted to 1965.

The worst immigration act that is the root of all of our immigration problems today is the INA of 1965.

How many of the illegal aliens living in public housing in the united states are black as opposed to hispanic?

This move benefits the black community just as much as it does the white community, as black citizens of the united states will be held to a higher standard of care and consideration for public housing than illegal aliens from south of the border.

You mean US residents brought over by illegal parents? Or the one who applied for housing assistance with legal status and now live with 10 illegal relatives.
Trump is right about the loopholes in subsidized housing.

The point is, Ellis Island can be upgraded to handle thousands per day. We should have no crisis on our border.

So says the guy who said our immigration problem is artificial and goes on to call conservatives bigots. The immigration problem is so artificial that your own people are threatening to sue Trump if he sends them thousands of artificial illegals. You know what, such a move sounds quite bigoted to me.

Legal immigrants rarely come to America on a ship today.

Airports tend to be the port of entry that legal immigrants use today.

Ellis Island doesn't have an airfield.

Government solves all problems for the right wing. All foreign nationals in the US should have federal identification during their stay in the US.

Why do you care if we have a naturalization clause not any form of immigration clause?

We should be raising revenue not losing money for you to whine about taxes and try to cut social services for the Poor.
