There is a little known fact of mob dynamics.

A single person can create a riot.

    Big Mike Brown.
    Rodney King
    OJ Simpson

A handful or a few hundred will be enough to incite international violence and war.

    The 19 hijackers on 9/11/01.

You are right if we ignore the few instigators.

But they will not be ignored when those enemy agents incite the people across America who are ignorant of the evidence being presented to most but not seen by the average Liberal.

Has anyone told you we are being warred upon by hostile agents within our society?

There’s no doubt the msm encourages leftist outrage, and the msm will lie to stoke the flames.

The New York Times and Washington Post are only respected by leftists who agree with their bias.

At one time they were, indeed, respected news organizations. But they have learned, just as Fox News has, that if they play to the partisan zeal of most of their readers they will 'sell' more 'news.'

They have lost all credibility amongst normal Americans.

Those of us who don't dwell solely in one the two echo chambers are well aware of the bias shown by most news media; only those who refuse to look outside their political bubble fail to recognize the echo chamber they are in...

That would at least ease up the tensions, and return us to normal life and to the civility we are greatly lacking. So if he would at least do that, it would be a good thing for this country.

Uhm.... you obviously have not grasped the concept of what all this is about. This is not about the House, or the Senate or the Democrats... or even about Trump. This is about the people.

If Trump had information he hasn't released just because "that'll show 'em". That, in and of itself, would be an impeachable offense.

I'm amazed at how the right doesn't understand the gravity of this. They see it as a football game. In which I want "my team" to win no matter what. This has caused great unrest. It has far-reaching consequences to our country. We are at a point in which we have already lost a lot.

And you just want your side to... win...?

You tell me: How patriotic is that?

Being unconstitutional has long gone as a requirement for impeachment.

Actually its about all of that. Each affects the other in many ways. This is not an "either or" situation. And if any one or more parts becomes untenable then the others suffer. We all know that Democrats think Trump is the one that is untenable. We all also know that Repubs think that the Dems are untenable. And everyone knows that the Independents vary in their opinion of who is untenable and who isn't, or perhaps all sides are being untenable.

With the Democratic Party's current definition of what is impeachable, yes it would be. Others, using less emotion, would just consider it childish. However you are misrepresenting what was said. They are withholding participation because the Dems in the House has made the process completely one sided in their favor. They had no intention of making this a fair inquiry. They've been hollering for his impeachment since just after he was elected. Some of them even ran on impeachment.

I don't have a side. I'm Independent. As such when it comes to political parties I don't have a side. I just follow what I see as facts. And I've been an Independent my whole life. I've never belonged to one party or the other so I'm not a disenfranchised Democrat or Republican who's parties have left them behind but they still feel the same. IE: I'm a true Independent.

What is and isn't "patriotic" is subjective. Some in this country consider socialism to be patriotic. Others consider allowing all immigrants, regardless of law, to come to this country any which way they choose. I don't consider either of those patriotic. So your point here isn't so much a point about patriotism...its a point about YOUR patriotism. No one else's.

"We the People", couldn't care less if the others suffer. They are at the service of "We the People". They have all taken an oath of office. If they wish to become private citizens, they have the greatest power that the Constitution can grant any government official: the power to resign.

The only "definition" I know of what "impeachable" is, is the one in the Constitution.

There is absolutely no subjectivity whatsoever in the fact that taking an impeachment process lightly is unpatriotic.

In what you say there are two possibilities: either Trump has the evidence, documents and testimony that exonerates him from the accusations in Article 1, or he doesn't. I he doesn't have any of that, he's obviously guilty and must be removed. If he has it and refuses to release it, he's guilty of obstruction of Congress as laid out in Article 2, and he must be removed.

    Give me another alternative, please.

    Then you're being short sighted.

The Constitution makes no definitions. It makes statements. It is up to Congress to make the Definitions in an impeachment.

Do you believe that the Senate is not a part of Congress? One can refuse to co-operate with the House and still co-operate with the Senate and visa versa. As long as you co-operate with one then technically speaking you are not obstructing Congress. And even the worst person in the Country deserves to have a fair process and if they do not believe that they are getting a fair process they have the Right to ask for a different forum and if it can be shown that they are not getting a fair process then they can move to a different forum. And Democrats in the House have DEFINITELY not given a fair process.

Why in the world would I want to make a credible case for Trump? He obviously is incompetent (see above post) and he is being impeached because he broke our laws and violated our Constitution.

Remove your lies, and you can't support him, either.

I do support him yes. Funny that is the best you can come up with though. Guess if you can't debate a person all you can resort to is what you would consider insults. Funnily enough, that's not an insult to a Trump supporter. It's only an insult if you hate Trump. Which you obviously do.

But since you find my statement of fact to be funny, how about you try and debunk it? You can't of course, but it will be fun watching you twist yourself into a pretzel trying to do so.

Well of course they're going to be furious. I think they've talked to this impeachment into existence.

And the problem is Donald Trump went straight for the jugular the moment he was elected. The media hates his guts. I hope he wins a second term.

I'll reply once more. I do not as a rule engage with someone who spends their morning at justconspiracies.loo and their afternoons sharing what they've learned.
I showed you an actual transcript of what was said by Trump. You showed a video by a paid member of team Trump as proof positive of what he meant to say. End of discussion. ALL of your posts revolve around accepting conspiracy as truth videotape as misinterpreted. There is no point, I've found, trying to converse with such an attitude.
Did you know it's a known fact that Shriners had Kennedy killed? They were against mandatory seat belts in their cars.

Would an LA Times article with the transcript of Trumps Charlottesville speech convince you? Or how about CNBC? I could list many more if you want? Basically any site that holds the full transcript of Trumps speech on Charlottesville will show that the PragerU video is telling the truth about his comments on Charlottesville.

LINK: Read the complete transcript of President Trump’s remarks at Trump Tower on Charlottesville
LINK: Read the transcript of Donald Trump’s jaw-dropping press conference

You may not want to believe that this is not a conspiracy theory. But its not. Trump really did seperate "fine people" from the neo-nazi's and white supremacists in his Charlottesville speech. That is a fact. Not a conspiracy theory.

Considering how often the leftist media has tried to claim that Trump was calling neo-nazi's and white supremacists "fine people" I'm not surprised that you considered anything to the contrary to be a conspiracy theory. And considering how often they pushed that narrative...despite having the full transcript readily available to them...do you really think it was just a mistake? Or was it an intentional lie to smear Trump? How much else have they been lying to you about?

Yes! I am shortsighted! You wouldn't believe the size of the font that I use on my computer to be able to read this. But I am also right! This is not about protecting the feelings of the President. It's about protecting the will and the needs of "We The People".

So if somebody as short-sighted as myself can whoop your ass with facts and arguments to the point where you are only left with an ad-hominem, you have no hope whatsoever with all the bright posters on this Forum. I'd give up if I were you.

Is all we can expect from you besides ad-hominems, these irrelevant semantics?

I would appreciate it if you have the decency to let me know, so as not to waste my time.

Where in the Constitution does it say that the President has such power to decide what branch of Congress they cooperate with?

It's The House.... not the Senate, not the courts and most certainly not the President.... who has "the sole power of impeachment"

If you were an honest poster, this would be your moment of epiphany. And you would now understand that Trump has indeed committed an impeachable offense. Alas! I do not place hopes on Trump loyalists placing the laws, the Constitution and their Country above their partisan dogma. This is your opportunity to prove me wrong. But I do hope at least you remember this when you call for the investigation of the next Democratic President on totally made up grounds, and not actual verifiable actions like the ones by this President.

Who mentioned feelings? I sure as hell didn't. Do you know what the word "untenable" means? If you do then.... Want to try and use another strawman?

If its an "irrelevant semantic" then why did you try to claim that the only definition of impeachment that you know is from the Constitution?

It doesn't. In fact the Constitution is silent on "obstruction of Congress" period. Another fun fact, there is no part in the Constitution that states that the President of the Executive Branch MUST cooperate with Congress in impeachments at all. You're quite free to provide evidence to the contrary if you'd like.

And you should educate yourself on what "the sole power of impeachment" clause of the Constitution means. It's actually rather simple. All that it means is that the House and not the other two branches gets to deal with impeachments. That's it. It doesn't give them added power over the other branches. It can't make one branch obey all its whims. It just means that they are the ones that gets to initiate impeachment. No other branch. And that's it.

The point is that if you obviously have only HALF the story on Trump, the bad half (and much of that are lies and myths and half truths and stuff from before he became a politician) then your perceptions and judgment are severely anemic and cant be trusted.

You cripple your credibility when we can dismiss your comments out of hand as an anti Trump zealot who only knows half the story...the half that the bad guys with a bad agenda for America feed you from their offices abroad.

If you were able to post a credible case in support of Trump, using the things that his supporters cite as our reasons for liking him, you would be hard to casually dismiss.

But then again, if you knew the whole story about Trump, the chances are that you would fall in love with him.

I can only guess that you are homosexual from the colorful cogs in your avatar's brain area.

So, here is a video from a Gay guy who was a Liberal. He voted for Hillary and cried when Trump won.

Well, he came to realize the truth and it caused him to walk away from the Left.

And the second video is the one which caused him to fall in love with Trump.

If you watch both, you will be hard pressed to continue hating Trump.

Try it or not, what I have posted here is absolutely true to the best of my knowledge and 100% sincere.

Look. If you're going to debate this seriously, this is the time to start. Substitute "feelings" for whatever the hell you meant by "suffer". Makes no difference.

Because the definition of impeachment is semantic irrelevance in this debate! Who cares????

No it's not! Look up "Oath of Office"

    .
Article II, Section One, Clause 8

It's amazing how people come here to comment on something as serious as the impeachment of a sitting President without even understanding the most basic principles in which this country was founded.

That's exactly what it means. So it's not up to the Executive Branch to decide if somebody testifies.... or even so much as comment on whether somebody shouid testify or not. It is not for the President to decide if Impeachment is appropriate or not or to undermine the process.... all of which have been violations that this President has committed. The only thing the President is allowed to do is "preserve, protect and defend" the Constitutional process. And if he doesn't, he must be removed from office.

It's not only your ideology keeping you from understanding this. Now I see it's also a lack of understanding on how the laws and the Constitution works.

Thank you, but my time is limited, and I have none to do hand-holding. You will need to learn these thing on your own. And there are so many on the right that need individual tutoring on this that.. there just wouldn't be enough time. So thanks anyway. But, if you're ever curious about learning, you can use this post as a reference.

To the Leftists, Libs and Dems (who seem to be helping foreigners understand how our system works and have to let their insistent provocative proteges learn the hard way why certain things ... things most Americans learned when growing up here... are not good ideas) they sure didnt worry about any prerequisite unconstitutionality before starting impeachment proceedings only 19 minutes after Trump was sworn in!
