Going to stop you right there as you are certainly willfully unaware of what the SCOTUS is.

They are not empowered to create laws. They do not create laws. And they didn't create any laws by overturning Roe.
They opine and make decisions on constitutional law. Thats all they do. There is no right to an abortion in the constitution which is why they overturned the decision in the first place.

So your vote is dependent upon character - the lesser of two evils getting it. So, how many times did you vote for a Republican vs a Democrat?

I don't believe in phony groupthink political parties so if and when I do vote it's always going to be for the lesser of 2 evils. Unfortunately unless one is a groupthinker that's always going to be the case. Politicians and honesty is an oxymoron. The last time I voted prior to this election was almost a half century ago so the question is irrelevant.

Well, it's nice that Trump brought you out of your "cave". Why not the first time he ran. Or weren't you paying attention that time?

Quit the insults or this "discussion" is over. My choices were not choices (war criminal vs wannabe war criminal). I wasn't fully aware of the extent/severity of Trump's mental defects so I didn't vote. It would have been a disaster either way unfortunately.

Don't be so sensitive. There was nothing insulting about my questions. I once swore off voting myself after Obama got elected the second time. I wanted no part of a process where the majority of voters elected a traitor to our democracy twice.

In United States constitutional law, the penumbra includes a group of rights derived, by implication, from other rights explicitly protected in the Bill of Rights.[2] These rights have been identified through a process of "reasoning-by-interpolation", where specific principles are recognized from "general idea" that are explicitly expressed in other constitutional provisions.

That paragraph essentially explains the principle on which Roe was originally decided and why it never should have been repealed.

It wasn't your questions that were insulting it was your comment about not voting being the equivalent of being a cave dweller.

I can't remember the last President who wasn't a traitor (i.e. a constitutional criminal or a war criminal). The fake exclusive 2 party system in Amerika is designed to give The People the illusion that they have a choice. But all it is is a tool to divide and conquer. You can see how that works in this forum for example.

Correct. Thats how its supposed to be (barring an amendment to the constitution protecting abortion) and that's how it is now.

Generally when a word or phrase is put in quotation the meaning is figurative. In this case I used it to represent your absence from the process of voting. I have a gaming room which my wife calls my "man cave". She doesn't mean it as an insult, but simply where I go to escape the "world".

Have you never considered an alternative Party candidate? Like one from the Communist Party.

Why not one from the Nazi party while you're at it? You either don't understand what I post or you're FOS, probably both.

Now who is being obnoxiously insulting? Enjoy your day (and your cave).

Don't feel bad. Most conservatives can't explain why they believe most things.

Most know how trying to explain something to a "liberal"/democrat is futile. So they don't bother most of the time.

For much of the last 80 years. The current court is now trying to undo much of that damage and the left which has always tended to view the courts as a legislature of last resort hates it.

No for the last 219 years and counting. They are legislating and Amending the Constitution as the wind blows. Now they are just pouring gasoline on the fire.

That is currently the status of the 'abortion' issue unless it is changed by a Constitutional amendment.

That was the status of slavery which was changed by a Constitutional amendment.

Just like the Obergefell ruling should have never been heard by the Supreme Court because they are not supposed to be partial to the legislation from one state versus the legislation from a different state.

What you want is of the utmost insignificance to the rest of us. Penumbra reasoning as your link shows is basically common sense. Things like being able to buy arms, is somewhat different that finding a penumbra on abortion when it had essential been illegal prior to the case.
