I think it is stupid to worry about the after life when you are living on earth

    Why?
Because I answer your nonsense with Stats and Facts which show how wrong you are?

You know zero about me except the things I write here, which oppose your support for sexual promiscuity and reject sexual prudence as a better way.
But this is the reason people get crucified, because the Truth does hurt and oppose nonsense.

I think its stupid to think of this life alone, to the exclusion of the next

That said, I have often had the same thought u express

But the thing is that Christians do try to make the wolrd a better place, only to be smacked down every time by anti-Christs galore

When Jesus walked the earth He mentioned those. He said that "even now there are many anti-Christs in he world"

Jesus also supposedly said not to worry about tomorrow because you can't do anything about it. You'll be lucky to make it through today for focus your attention to what's happening now and not on things in the future over which you have no control.

Well some people believe they actually do have control over what their future holds in regards to the afterlife which is why they follow a certain set of rules and whatnot.

how? by the propagation of falsehoods and the unseemly worship (in itself a putrid thing to do, regardless of the object) of a monster god?

my apologies, I hadn't realised you have kids. I seem to have vague memory of you saying you were unmarried and childless.

how do I support promiscuity, please? remember you're talking to someone who's been faithfully married (to the same person) for 20+ years, and has raised 3 kids.

Is that so? So when they go over on missions to Africa and tell everyone to not use birth control and stuff which leads to HIV and STDs and a massive over population problem you're saying that they are trying to help?

And when they try to do the same at home? Which leads to a high teenage pregnancy rate and abortion rate?

My son and one of my daughters have masters degrees. I sent them a monthly check for over five years. I basically paid their living expenses....both of them received grants based on their academic performance plus.....both of them had part time jobs during the time they were in college. Both of them drove old model used cars.

Their grandfathers died lower middle class and barely left enough to cover their own burial expenses.

Well then hopefully we get to pick which afterlife we want to live in. Now we just have to decide which one is going to be the most fun for eternity. As a guy I think I want the Mark Twain afterlife.

The Crusades and Inquisition were great efforts to make the world a better place.

Not to mention the hundreds of thousands of innocent young women tortured and burned at the stake because they were accused of being a witch:

    Exodus 22:

18 "Thou Shalt Not Suffer A Witch To Live"

One might also include the verse in Exodus which condemns a homosexual to death

Only the professing Homos are to be attacked.
This so that young guys are not incoraged to masturbate with one another as an alternative sex with girls, and to marry as as a social goal.
Witches were actually promiscuous non-believers too.

    Yes,...
Life in America is great if one would realize it by comparison.
We see these immigrants from S America and know how terrible life can be if poverty and war and differences between us exist.

Heaven in the future is a world like America was, before 1950, growing o be better and better, without the Feminism and Gayness that has caused the social problems of Abortion, Welfare, Child Abuse, etc.

Knowing how great life is in the US even today is the main reason why I am so grateful. I've been to the far corners of the world and have seen what real poverty looks like. I am very grateful to have been lucky enough to be born here. I could have just as easily been born in a slum of Afghanistan, or Burma, or N. Korea etc. Even with all of our current problems there is still nowhere else I would rather be by a long shot.

    Absolutely right.
"America, What would the World be Like without Her" is a great picture, too, which certifies this same point while it dispels all the attempted criticism of the USA.
