In the jungles of the amazon their are also natives called savages when they try to defend the land they called their own against mining and logging. Are they not humans who also have legitimate rights.

    Hmmm, not at all.

n April 26th, a parade of hundreds of Waorani men and women, members of an indigenous nation in a remote part of the Ecuadorian Amazon, marched triumphantly through the streets of Puyo, the regional capital of the eastern province of Pastaza. Many had come from villages in parts of the rain forest that have no roads—journeying by canoe and small plane. They were celebrating a new court ruling, which held that the Ecuadorian government could not, as it had planned, auction off their land for oil exploration without their consent. Nemonte Nenquimo, a Waorani leader, told me that they had come to Puyo to reclaim their right to self-governance and that the verdict had made them feel safer. “The court recognized that the government violated our right to live free, and make our own decisions about our territory and self determination,” she said, over WhatsApp. “Our territory is our decision, and now, since we are owners, we are not going to let oil enter and destroy our natural surroundings and kill our culture.”

Native Americans are the US citizens and are free to live wherever they want. They live on reservations because they chose to be there.
To me, a reservation is just a community. Just like any town they get to elect their own local governments. The only difference is that they are not subject to state laws. I see very little difference between Amish community and a reservation.

Why disband them? Everyone has the right to live any way they want.

Yeah, so true. But I've seen both those kinds of communities and my eyes picked up more than a little difference.

And AGAIN : What is it you want from these people?

They have been defeated, humiliated, tortured, murdered, raped, had their children taken away from them , had every treaty broken by the US, moved like cattle , imprisoned for their skin color,

….and YOU STILL want something from them

    WHAT?

And, the "mainstream", whoever that is, is wrong and ignorant if they claim one group is evil and another not.

The Waorani are an exceptionally warlike people even as compared to other warlike raiding tribes.
The distinct Waorani culture before contact with missionaries was a culture of systematic murder and mayhem.

And you would be OK if a group of indians destroyed your house?

Not even close to the savagery of tribal warfare. The cause of death for half of the Waorani was murder.

"Jim Yost had continued his contact throughout this period and began his studies. It was an unique opportunity: a chance to observe for the first time a people who had been isolated for Centuries, and whose origins were a mystery

Unravelling the secrets of Waorani culture, Jim made some amazing discoveries. He found that the Waorani had maintained the highest levels of homicide ever recorded in the annals of human history. Fully fifty per cent of all deaths in the preceding five generations had been the result of homicide as the Waorani engaged in a continuous and deadly internal vendetta, pursued mostly at night, in spearing raids. No death, it seemed, whatever the cause, went unavenged. Furthermore, the Waorani were even reputed to kill by spearing any, although only a few instances have been proven, of their old people who no longer had the means to support themselves; and they practised infanticide, either strangling unwanted or malformed babies with vines, or burying them alive.

Even while Jim was studying the Waorani culture, the killings, in feuds and raids, continued, although their frequency gradually reduced due to increasing missionary influence. Apart from their extraordinary history of homicide, a further twenty per cent of Waorani deaths were caused by shootings by outsiders; and another five per cent died from snake bites."

The Waorani culture should if possible be protected from outside interference and studied very carefully.

"Medically, the Waorani turned out to be something of an enigma: they had no trace of cancer; no cardiovascular disease; no high blood pressure; no allergies; and none of the known diseases familiar to us."

Yup, with their consent of course, we don't want these medical wonders starting arming themselves again.
