    I didn't say any laws, I meant laws based on Judeo/Christian principles. Big difference! Anyway the development of our laws was a gradual process, and reached their peak in Christianity. While the Apostles and Saints spread the faith, the laws were probably spread by the colonists. How else?

    When the Eugenics Movement was popular in this country (USA) they believed they were the right people who dressed correctly and ate correctly and voted correctly and spoke correctly, and everybody else wasn't. They could justify doing just about anything to their fellow citizens within these borders.

    This can happen anywhere anytime.

    No it wasn't....total nonsense....what set America apart was its ethics based on secular ideas like classical liberalism and freedom of thought. The parts infected by Christian ethics, like slavery, subjugation of women, and child marriage, had to be forcibly excised and replaced with better, secular ideas.

    Oh, not even close. Japan, and Democrats have done things like that as well. I bet NK is doing it today.
