A ten year old boy doesn't worry that he has a crush on suzy but that same boy may worry that he is a crush on steven and it may affect him.

I have nothing against homosexuals, have many close friends that are gay.

Of course they should have equal rights and be fully protected from any discrimination and I would be first in line to defend that right of theirs.

They are not different, they are just people like anyone else which goes to my core belief that they shouldn't be treated differently or have additional rights that others do not.

This over activism of theirs should not be and is not required and that is what irks me about their movement.

If Paul and Steve want to move in next to me then awesome, invite me over for a drink and we can laugh and have a good time but don't start sticking signs up in your yard about how being gay empowers you or whatever.

Homosexuality has to do with attraction, a person can have homosexual sex and not be homosexual — a person could have never had homosexual sex and still be a homosexual — a person could only have heterosexual sex and still be a homosexual. The inverse of all of those could also be true.
