Well... they could... perhaps that is could be gained from this. They can also be impeached for doing so... as was old Sam Chase... (signer of the Declaration of Independence). It all, eventually and ALMOST irrevocably boils down to congress. The size of congress was meant to prevent such tyranny.

In short, if WE the people continue to elect absurd candidates to represent us, we are ultimately to blame. Your social contribution is not limited to the hour you take to vote. It is the hours by which you contribute to your understanding of that vote.

Okay, so you believe that the constitution has power insofar as it can grant power to a court and a legislature, but it doesn't have any power to restrain those institutions.

Your position is arbitrary and it defeats itself. The institution that tried to educate you has failed.

Have you heard the term strawman before?

The federal government has the power to enforce constitutional rights on the states. This was their only prescribed power to override. Should a justice be found to favor their own opinion above the framers, they are subject then, and only then, to removal, by a body of hundreds.

Not saying I don't disagree with a lot of decisions... but I am a dude with a laptop... and while much has been exploited... there has not been what I consider tyranny.

Our federal Congress is only delegated the power to legislate in all Cases whatsoever in the federal districts. Our Tenth Amendment claims the residual powers not delegated, are retained by the States or the People.

Are you claiming that States cannot insist on States' rights?

Impeach the judges too, sounds good. I don't see any reason to wait for what you consider tyranny.

    What of the unconstitutional legislation?

And yes, I have heard the term strawman. Why do you ask?
