The Earned Income Tax Credit, or EITC, and the Additional Child Tax Credit, or ACTC.

Those two programs are already among the most corrupt and fraud-ridden in the entire federal government. The EITC is plagued by fraud and the ACTC is even worse and SNAP certainly has its issues too!

A family with a tax bill of $1,000 might receive an EITC "refund" of $5,000, meaning the family doesn't write a check to the government but rather receives a check from the government. The ACTC works similarly for low-income workers with children.

The IRS paid out $63 billion in EITC benefits in 2013, of that, $15 billion, was given improperly to people not qualified to receive it.

"Mass deportation" is a comprehensive, inclusive act - banishing all persons of a targeted group without discriminating based upon individual circumstances.

No US president has ever done that.

 

No president has ever called for the indiscriminate deportation of all individuals based soley upon their immigration status as in, "There are an estimated 11-12 people residing in the US who do not have proper documentation. We must pursue, apprehend, arrest, and banish them all."

After the presidents you cite, many millions were still here. Only a percentage were deported, and for specific reasons. There was never an attempted mass deportation of the 11-12 million folks. Most, by far, remained here.

The 20% or so of estimated illegal aliens who were deported during Obama's tenure is a very sizable portion but, I don't regard that percentage as constituting "mass deportation."

Well they can still find work off the books in my area more than a few child care workers are working only for cash and I can't speak about other kinds of workers but one woman is taking care of about eight children in her apartment for cash and she must be earning $200 a day (she charges $25/day plus either the parents can provide lunch or she will for an added $5/day) mostly because there is a need and she works for far less than other options. And the middle aged Church going woman is largely trustworthy and likeable. This kind of work doesn't use a SSN and they won't use banks so its hard to go after for the authorities. And if your a working parent $25 to take care of your child is a bargain going to a licensed place would be far more expensive.

 

The human rights disaster which would ensue if the deportation of 10 million people were attempted would be in fact comical... as the world laughs at all the hysterical paranoid xenophobic Yanks having yet another fit of intolerance.
