    As clearly stated, and quoted...I PERSONALLY think the kid was justified in shooting those people. And followed that statement with....that's my opinion. Never once did I say the kid was innocent of anything. I don't make the determination of whether someone is innocent or not, the courts do. I said hopefully the murder stuff is dropped. I never stated in a factual sense that the murder stuff would be dropped or that the kid was innocent of murder or manslaughter or anything else.

    The only part of that post that I stated anything as a fact was the act of him openly carrying an AR-15 being illegal. That is a fact based on the law as written.

    I believe that it will be charged as Murder.

    With lesser included charges and (most likely, at some point) the offer of a plea bargain

    Um right, the one guy that survived has outright admitted that he was attempting to murder the kid. He created the tweet shown below. When you admit that your intent was to kill the shooter, it makes it real damn hard to argue against self-defense.... I would argue that it makes it impossible.

    Yes but it also gives ammunition to the prosecution in a case like this so it is a valid point to bring up.

    One of those sticky situations in the courtroom to where "You killed two people while doing something that was definitely illegal. If you weren't doing the illegal thing in the first place then you would not have been in the situation to where you needed to defend yourself with your illegally brandished weapon and kill two people and wound a third".

    The kid might be screwed honestly. I hope not but it basically boils down to the fact that he was illegally carrying a weapon in a situation that required himself to defend himself and shoot 3 people. And he wasn't even from that town. It would be one thing if this happened in his home town and he was at his family business or at home or something and the rioters showed up. But from what it sounds like he chose to take an AR-15 that he is not legally allowed to carry across state lines into a neighboring city to defending something against the rioters there.

    I'm no lawyer by any means but I feel like that is going to be a hard sell unless there was some justifiable legitimate reason why he decided to do that as in he had family there he was trying to help or something.

    Kyle Rittenhouse, a 17-year-old militia member who has been arrested and is facing a homicide charge in the matter, was not old enough to legally carry the assault-style rifle he had, according to statutes, which say anyone under 18 who "goes armed" with any deadly weapon is guilty of a Class A misdemeanor

    The objectively reality is this kid is innocent, and was totally and inarguably allowed to have the gun in that war zone and to defend himself against these BLM and antifa terrorists.

    He did a great job showing restraint but used deadly force exactly when he needed to. The 2 who are dead, are dead because of their own terrorist acts.

    It is not my job to prove this to you, as it is on everyone to do their own research. I will not do it for you.
