Title pretty much says it all. A quick back story about myself.

I used to be an advent conspiracy theorist and Trump supporter. In fact, you can see my pro Trump posts and some of my conspiracy theories on this forum. I used to believe in false flags, was skeptical of vaccines, and even lizard people to an extent.

I came out of the conspiracy theory movement a little before I stopped supporting Trump approximately two years ago. My journey towards reality started when I decided to pursue a career in law enforcement. One of the conspiracies I believed in was that Sandy Hook was a hoax. As I was going through the process of becoming law enforcement, I started to realize how ridiculous it is to believe that the same people sitting next to me were (a) willing to pull such an operation off and (b) keep everything a secret.

This led me down the path of asking myself "if I'm wrong about this, what else am I wrong about?" That path led me out of the conspiracy theory movement and led me to start questioning my political views. That's when I started to see what exactly I voted for back in 2016 and all the lies and misinformation I believed and defended.

Thank you. I hope your awakening will help someone else appreciate reality like you've learned. I was a LEO from 1957 thru 1964. In many ways I will always regret quitting after 7 years.

Should last right up until your first encounter with full fledged BLM crazies. By the way what constitutes a conspiracy theory.

The election being stolen despite evidence to the contrary, 9/11 being and inside job, ANTIFA dressing up as Trump supporters and raiding the Capitol, mass shootings being false flags, being anti vaccines, etc. Basically any theory that has little if any evidence of it being true.

Also, don't confuse my lack of support for Trump for support for the summer riots.

Probably more than anything else it is the lack of introspection by Trump supporters, something you had the courage engage in, that keeps them in the fold. It's why denial of truth is an essential component to keeping the faith in the former Conman-in-Chief.

Sorry there is no evidence to the contrary there is only a lack of evidence in support. And that is solely because no one seems to be interested in doing a thorough investigation.

"Denial of truth by DCP disciples is what got Traitor Joe elected."

Denial of truth lead to the insurrectionist's riot.

Who won the election for president?

Again check into reality if you don't know who is president of the US. Maybe ask one of the other DCP disciples.

The current crop, at least, took root with what became known as “Pizzagate.” Promoters of that conspiracy theory in 2016 used social media platforms to make unfounded but viral allegations that Hillary Clinton and other prominent Democrats were running a pedophile ring out of the basement of a Washington, D.C., pizzeria — even though that restaurant had no basement.

Since then, the dark theme of Pizzagate has found new life with permutations forming part of the Qanon conspiracy theory, incorporated under the umbrella term “pedogate.” The gist of the pedogate conspiracy theory is that global elites — politicians, celebrities, and wealthy businesspersons — are covertly involved in a far-reaching ring that trafficks young children for sexual purposes.
    https://www.snopes.com/news/2018/09/02/roots-pedophile-ring-conspiracy-theories/

To normal thinking people, the above 2 claims by trump supporters are definitely conspiracy theory crazy.

    Do you agree?

trump did a thorough investigation 4 yrs ago when he lost the popular vote but won the EC vote.
His team of investigators ended their election fraud investigation with a wimper and found essentially nothing.

Ga, this year investigated deeply their count and the legitimacy of each vote. Came up with next to nothing.

There's tons of proof that election fraud is statistically insignificant. All one has to do is open eyes and mind.

Go here. Open your mind and eyes to your hearts content.

the BLM crazies are lightweights compared to the Q anons and trumpers..

the BLM rallys and riots were impulsive acts during a protest

being done by people that became enraged after watching what was basically a modern day lynching of a black man ..

the trump rally and riots of January 6th were deliberate

being done by people that became enraged believing the LIE the election was stolen from trump

the riots of january 6th were planned and deliberate and meant keep a cult leader in power

the BLM riots were impulsive and unplanned and meant to stand up to white nationalism

The Presidential Advisory Commission on Election Integrity (PEIC or PACEI), also called the Voter Fraud Commission, was a Presidential Commission established by Donald Trump that ran from May 11, 2017 to January 3, 2018.[1][2] The Trump administration said the commission would review claims of voter fraud, improper registration, and voter suppression.[3] The establishment of the commission followed through on previous discredited claims by Trump that millions of illegal immigrants had voted in the 2016 United States presidential election, costing him the popular vote.[4] Vice President Mike Pence served as chair of the commission, while Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach served as vice chair and day-to-day administrator.
    ...
The acting DHS press secretary said that Kobach would not be advising or working with DHS, and the White House said it would destroy all the state voter data collected by the Commission. The panel disbanded without any preliminary findings.[17]

You being a Trump supporter I have to note how comical it is for you to suggest anybody check in to reality.

So multiple riots on the left are fine but a riot on the right is not?
I personally condemn both side for rioting.

And of course they never stated that there was no fraud only that they were unable to obtain sufficient information from the various states to make any sort of reliable evidence one way or the other.

“Unfortunately, my experience on the Commission quickly caused me concern that its purpose was not to pursue the truth but rather to provide an official imprimatur of legitimacy on the President Trump’s assertions that millions of illegal votes were cast during the 2016 election and to pave the way for policy changes designed to undermine the right to vote,” Dunlap said in the letter.

It is shocking how you folks cling to disproven claims for years after they are debunked.

Correct. They could find no proof. They wanted to invade state's rights to find something that doesn't exist.

You do know, each state has Ds and Rs on election commissions. Polling places and counting stations.
And each state investigates all claims of legit fraud.

    https://www.heritage.org/voterfraud
Go search the above website for all the fraud cases. It's statistically insignificant.

Until you can offer evidence of widespread fraud affecting an election, all you have is the OPs statement of conspiracy theory and believing in them.
And you certainly have swallowed the bait. IMO.
