    I posted several times on how this virus defies predictions and tends to prove wrong the people who minimize it. But I don't recall that any of my posts on the matter, included calling fellow posters, people who lack vision and/or wisdom, are of below level intelligence, or are stupid. If you want people to engage in a conversation with you, it might be a good idea to treat them nicely.

    Now, in reference to the above-mentioned comparison;

    Public Health Screening to Begin at 3 U.S. Airports for 2019 Novel Coronavirus (“2019-nCoV”)

    FACT; Starting January 17, 2020, travelers from Wuhan to the United States will undergo entry screening for symptoms associated with 2019-nCoV at three U.S. airports that receive most of the travelers from Wuhan, China: San Francisco (SFO), New York (JFK), and Los Angeles (LAX) airports

    https://www.cdc.gov/media/releases/2020/p0117-coronavirus-screening.html

    ---------------

    Why said Airports/Point of Entry?

    Answer; Once again, due to the fact that California and New York have the largest percentage of Chinese Americans, thus, daily/weekly/monthly, and annually, a whole lot of travelling from/to China, and from/to said international airports.

    Whereas in Canada, a whole lot of travelling from/to China, and ONLY from/to 2 international airports, thus, Vancouver, and Toronto, and said cities/states have the largest population of Chinese immigrants.

    AND during Uncle Trudeau's NO NO NO China Travel Ban/during the month of February, 2020, 31,000 passengers from China landed in Canada, and they were undoubtedly screened/tested at said Canadian airports, and likely screened/tested at both ends.

    THUS, if we were to compare TRUMP's China Trave Ban, and Uncle Trudeau's NO NO NO China Travel Ban, and the following claim;

    "If I didn’t do that," referring to early travel restrictions on China, "we would’ve had hundreds of thousands more people dying" in the United States.

    Trump's "we would’ve had hundreds of thousands more people dying".......Don't add up!

    I disagree, for example; I've tried to be fair and nice with Republicans who kept chanting; "Obama doubled the debt''

    My Rationale; For your info, during Obama's presidency, The Federal Reserve's mass purchases of Treasuries have also increased the public debt by approx. $2 trilliion, and ironically, during the pandemic, by approx. same amount.

    AND here's the stupidious response I ever heard; ''Yeah, but when Obama was POTUS, he controlled the Federal Reserve, thus his debt! AND said Republicans kept chanting the same tune.

    Thus, a long time ago, I concluded that in partisan politics/Political Forums, ''Treat them nicely'' rarely works, both short and long term.

    Not calling people names isn't "treating them nicely". It's not treating them poorly.

    What about this GUY.......I recently had to ridiculed;

    Reference to; Georgia's Election Integrity Act of 2021

    HIS RESPONSE; ''Weak Minded Morons........ASKING FOR ID VIOLATES THE CONSTITUTION?

    MY RESPONSE;

    Georgia's Election Integrity Act of 2021........It's a legislation which contains a number of PROS and CONS.............NOTE; I have not read it yet, however, here's an example of your rationale;

    Reference to The Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2021 (H.R. 133)........One of the longest pieces of legislation ever passed by Congress, and a whole lot of PROS and CONS.

    YOUR Response; ''Weak minded morons, what's wrong with increasing Veterans Affair's budget?

    In other words, you want people to accept said legislation ''AS IS'', based on ONE Appropriation that you strongly support.

    Thus, my question to you; Who's the weak minded moron?

    Nobody ever HAS to ridicule another person. You're never going to convince me that being mean is the right response. ;-)

    Hear hear

    "Gentlemen, might we be civil?"

    This is "discussion" board. If you disagree with someone DISCUSS the matter. These one word "nonsense" replies, with nothing else, are maddening at the least.

    Well, if you don't want to treat them nicely, then at least don't violate the terms of service, because calling fellow posters stupid, of low intelligence, and lacking vision and wisdom, is a violation of the PF rules. Remember, debate the idea, not the poster.

    I think to evaluate your credibility on predictions, you should post the links of your own predictions so we can compare.

    Perhaps, we should also evaluate people's honesty........

    This thread title;

    In reference to ''Predictions'', one could easily transform this forum into a comic book

    My opening statement; Mainly due to a lack of wisdom, and critical thinking?

    Well, back in late 2020, I made a prediction that 4 Republican States would surpass NY's number of deaths per 1M pop..........and to this date, I've been wrong.

    I should have said; MAY surpass instead of WILL.........thus, due to a lack of wisdom.

    I can't really evaluate a prediction that you say you made. You need to provide a link to predictions on this forum in order to evaluate fairly.

    Thanks again for your cooperation.

    Does it include any predictions by you? If so, you should repost them.

    As I stated, a lack of wisdom and/or a lack of critical thinking are the main reasons why people's predictions have been proven wrong.

    AND a lack of wisdom is one the main reason why Trump lost the presidential election.

    So... you have no verifiable predictions.

    Yes I do have a verifiable prediction;

    Over 75 million Americans predicted Trump would lose the presidential election, and I'm one of them.

    I've made multiple predictions on this forum, and if I needed to vouch for a particular prediction made on this forum, I could do it.

    But I wouldn't make any claims about predictions I can't prove.

    Me either.......I predicted Biden would win the popularity vote by 4 to 5%.

    I also predicted Trump would lose for the same reason he won in 2016.......his mouth.

    In fact, any above average intelligent people knew Trump would lose the presidential election, and Georgia.

    Question; Mr. nopartisanbull, aren't you being a bit mean?

    NO I'M NOT!

    BECAUSE THE TRUTH IS;

    Partisan politics makes smart people stupid

    https://www.learnliberty.org/blog/partisan-politics-makes-smart-people-stupid/

    AND partisan politics is what I want to crush

    Thus, attention partisan people, in this forum.....you are my enemy.

    or

    Either you're with me, or against me.
    YOUR QUOTE: ''But I wouldn't make any claims about predictions I can't prove"

    I'm still waiting for you to show that your predictions (which to be valid have to be made before the event) were in fact made before the event. Otherwise it's not a prediction.

    And I think you've demonstrated that you're not going to do that.
