Speaking as an American individual, neither rich nor poor, isn't estate tax (or death tax) double taxation? Those that never save are all for it. Those that save and build equity to help "family" are punished. "Class warfare" sounds like to me. Karl Marx liked the sound of that.

 

You’re right...let’s not force people to,pay taxes. If they need a cop, let them hire them. If their house is on fire let them hire private fireman. My children are finished with school so I don’t want to pay any school taxes. No....My daughter will inherit a lot of money hopefully from us. She never worked a day for that money. Why is it being doubly taxed? When I go to the gas station and get gas am I not being taxed again? After all when I got paid I was taxed on that money.
