Is Donald Trump a Role Model for Your Children?

Sure. We remember. Is Trump a role model? Why should he be? I doubt, seriously, that I'd agree that any politician is a good role model for kids. Why would they be? They lie, they cheat, they steal, (and that's just the Clinton family...)

I suppose it comes down to what matters in your own life, and your ability to teach the children in your familial reach the values that you'd like them to emulate and adopt. I would hope that having provided a strong enough foundation that our kids would be able to see through the thin veneer of political rhetoric. I would simply point out that your assumptions of what you think are incredibly superficial. Cool, you think Trump is self absorbed. Based on what? A lifetime of interaction with him? or just your ability to read what the media asks you to believe?

 

His own statements and the fact that his name is plastered in large gold letters on buildings all over the world.

 

Wow... the depth of that....

 

Donald Trump is not a role model. He's never been a role model. He will never be a role model. He's a despicable rotten human being, something he was long before he was elected and completely independent of his fluid position on politics over the years. I suppose it's easy to entertain the idea that Trump could be a role model if you pretend he never existed before Jan 20th, 2017. And if you don't listen to anything he says. Or read anything about what he's done. Or be aware of his existence at all.

 

His statements and actions are a perfectly rational justification for my belief.
