    Eleven??

How about Article 11 of the Treaty of Tripoli:
"Article 11. As the Government of the United States of America is not, in any sense, founded on the Christian religion; "

This treaty was signed by President John Adams. It was read aloud on the floor of the US senate, was recommended by Senate committee for ratification and was ratified unanimously.

The treaty was ratified in 1797, when presidents and senators knew very well what we were founded on.

"Is it me or are liberals now routinely anti Christian and anti Semitic?"

is it not conservative marching chanting "blood and soil, jews will not replace us"

is it not conservatives upset Christians coming across the southern border?

You have a list of each person's religion crossing the border?

    Or are you generalizing?

So you were generalizing, and you do not know if the people crossing are Christian, Jewish, Muslim, or Atheist?

You said that they were Christian. I've asked for you to prove how you knew it.

    Why I ask?

Did CTTRs with the Texas National Guard in 2011. Somehow the CPB came across a family illegally crossing. They didn't believe a god could allow what was happening in their city, to happen.

Just wondering how you became the expert on illegal immigrant religion.

the left wasn't the ones that just ran Roy Moore, and had members of their party defending it saying Joseph and Mary did it

I can give you a link saying almost 90% of Mexicans south of the border are Christians if you do not believe me

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Religion_in_Mexico

    Roman Catholicism 83%
    Other Christian 10%
    Other Religion 0.2%
    No religion 5%
    Unspecified 3%

Fresh. That wasn't what I asked.

You claimed those crossing are Christian. I asked you to prove that.

Cite us how you found out that these individuals are Christians.

Why are you dancing around it?

Just say "I cannot cite this because I made it up".

    No no no.

YOU made the claim that those who crossed the border were Christians.

I asked you to cite how you received that information from the individuals who crossed. You're just guessing.

I'll ask one more time, cite for us how you made your claim that you know those who crossed the border are in fact, Christians, and not atheists or anything else.

Stop deflecting. You made the claim. Man up

I never made any such claim that 100% of Mexicans crossing the border are Christians

I made the claim that Christians are crossing our southern border

that is just common sense, almost 90% of Mexicans are Christians

You never mentioned another religion, or a percentage. So now you're saying it's not only Christians crossing the border?

For the last time Fresh- please stop ignoring this. Cite me How you know what religion these illegal immigrants are.

    Is the question too difficult?

"is it not conservatives upset Christians coming across the southern border?"

thank you for finding my original quote....

in that quote I never said anything about Christians being the only ones crossing the border

are you saying the right makes exceptions for Christians? they only want to ban non-Christians from crossing the border?

I'm asking you to cite where you you claim it's Christians crossing the border.

I've asked you about 5 times now.

I already answered your questions, I never said only Christians are coming across our southern border

you show me a link that says the right doesn't want anyone coming across the border except Christians

the reality is, most Mexicans, over 90% are Christians

    Stop deflecting.

I asked you to prove what you said- which was that it's christians crossing the border.

If you refuse to cite a link that states the religion of these illegal aliens, then you have absolutely no need to respond.

    You're trolling at that point.

About 83% of Mexico is Catholic.

You really don't need more than that.

The claim by the right wing is that they couldn't possibly gain the interest of the immigrant community.

    THAT is what is startling.

I mean, here's a population that is conservative, is not interested in open borders, is majority Catholic and yet the right wing thinks Republicans would lose hands down to Democrats in recruiting these people!!!

    Why?

Why would anyone be interested in completely open borders?

Most nations aren't. It's dangerous. Our war on drugs proves just how dangerous it can be.
