Is literally ANYONE who died with COVID included in the number of deaths? If so, why?

I can understand people being included, if doctors even suspect that COVID has aggravated a pre-existing illness which has led to someone dying, even if it wasn't purely COVID which killed them. However, am I right in thinking that if someone dies from something clearly unrelated, but they had COVID, then they are included? If so, what is the reason for this inclusion?

    You are correct.

And they’re doing it because they’re trying to grossly artificially inflate the numbers because it’s the ONLY chance they have to unseat a president whom they abhor.

How can you be so sure that they lost their lives SPECIFICALLY to COVID?

Stupid stat. Is the US number one in the world?

No not specific to Illinois. That is the CASE definition of COVID. Which means it’s the same definition every state and local government agency uses.

That was her statement. It’s the case definition. Case definition means: “Case definition, in epidemiology, set of criteria used in making a decision as to whether an individual has a disease or health event of interest. Establishing a case definition is an imperative step in quantifying the magnitude of disease in a population.”

That means it’s the same definition used broadly across government agencies to identify the magnitude of the outbreak. They do so because they can’t have multiple states coming up with different ways to identify and tabulate the impacts of a disease.

But then surely the case definition for COVID is public, and therefore this doctor in the video is not the only source for it.

    https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/cases-updates/about-us-cases-deaths.html

As of April 14, 2020, CDC case counts and death counts include both confirmed and probable cases and deaths. This change was made to reflect an interim COVID-19 position statementpdf iconexternal icon issued by the Council for State and Territorial Epidemiologists on April 5, 2020. The position statement included a case definition and made COVID-19 a nationally notifiable disease. Nationally notifiable disease cases are voluntarily reported to CDC by jurisdictions.

A confirmed case or death is defined by meeting confirmatory laboratory evidence for COVID-19.

A probable case or death is defined by one of the following:

    • Meeting clinical criteria AND epidemiologic evidence with no confirmatory laboratory testing performed for COVID-19
    • Meeting presumptive laboratory evidence AND either clinical criteria OR epidemiologic evidence
    • Meeting vital records criteria with no confirmatory laboratory testing performed for COVID19

So according to that. If you die with covid then you’re counted as a covid death. Even if you die without a confirmed test and you simply have a medical chart that reflects SYMPTOMS of covid, you’re counted as a covid death.

Which, might I add, is COMPLETELY different from how we counted H1N1 deaths and different than how the VAST majority of the world counts them.

So the US can be 'bad' compared to all the countries that only count Cvirus deaths as deaths that didn't have comorbidities. ...which is a lot of them.

That doesn’t answer the question. The question is what qualifies covid being put on the death certificate? The answer is having covid or having symptoms of covid at the time of death. That’s it. The ACTUAL cause of death is irrelevant as to whether covid is included on the death certificate. If they have or have symptoms of covid it’s listed as contributory to the cause of death.

That’s why we have such a grossly inflated death count.

And they require a positive covid test BEFORE death. Almost universally. But not us. Because we have half the country who is trying to unseat a president whom they hate.

Which as I pointed out earlier, we ALSO required when we were counting H1N1 deaths. We also required that it be THE cause of death on a death certificate to count it. If we counted H1N1 deaths the same way we do covid we would have had hundreds of thousands more deaths from H1N1

Its a lot of things. Thats one of them. We're also supposed to be damanding vaccines. We're sposed to be scared to leave our house. We're sposed to be depending on govt aid to survive. We're sposed to be ushering in a new austere economy. We're sposed to be driving less. We're sposed to be watching more tv.....

But if Cvirus is only meaningfully dangerous to folks who are already unhealthy, it becomes difficult to use as a weapon to ruin and control us.

I hate to see anyone die for any reason. So don't get the idea I am callous because of this reasoning.

Supposedly, the number of deaths due to any cause has gone up during this pandemic. That being the case, the virus could be counted as causing the deaths. However, it is not really that simple. If someone dies a week earlier than they would have because of the virus, that is far from being a disaster. The pandemic should be blamed for shortening lives rather than killing people.

After this is over, there should be a drop in overall deaths below what is normal, because it will have killed some people earlier. The death rate will drop because they have already died.

In fact, to take that logic a step further. Suppose, on average, the virus shortens lives by an average of three months. (strictly an arbitrary number). Therefore, after three months of the pandemic, the overall deaths per month will drop back to the normal rate. After the pandemic is over, the rate will drop below normal for about three months and then will go back up.

I realize this is a simplistic argument, but I believe it is accurate at least to some extent.

Early on, several doctors around the country went on record showing that they had received specific instructions from CDC regarding the "proper" filling out of death certificates regarding Covid. CDC essentially moved the goalposts so as to enable the deception that the virus had a high morbidity rate. Time showed it has a very low morbidity rate.

This is better described as Plandemic. This was done to advance an agenda which included terrorizing the masses and crushing the economy and plundering the US treasury.

If they counted the number of people who died after contracting other common respiratory viruses as the precipitating event to a long down hill slide, the people would gasp and faint.
That's why we don't do stupid **** like this with other viruses

    Indeed.

The CDC has thousands who have "intentional and unintentional injury" as one of the comorbidities

That's right. People who committed suicide or died in accidents were counted as covid deaths.

About 40,000 of them were heart attacks/heart failure.

As I've been saying from the beginning, there is one factor that shows the deception clearly:

The disparity between 1st world and 3rd world deaths.

If Covid were as deadly as they claim, it would have decimated countries without adequate health care.

    It did not.

We aren't undercounting the COVID deaths. The science here is settled. Those claiming we are overcounting are free to join their flat earth brethren.

"The science here is settled" for something that began less than a year ago is the least scientific thing I've ever read.

    We're not claiming they're overcounted.

The evidence they're overcounted is right there on the CDC's own website.

Trump saved Whitmer's life! It was his FBI that arrested the suspects. Trump is a hero!

Trump's CDC is out to get him. Trump is a victim of his own agency. Poor Trump. Can't get a break to save his life.
