Sky still blue, grass still green, muslims still blowing stuff up. Anything new?

They don't seem to mind using force of arms to impose their will over muslims who don't believe in the legitimacy of their Islamic caliphate.

You do not appear to be a military strategist.

You do not appear to have a relevant point to contribute.

I would be interested in a link. I have not heard that before. I thought he seemed rather an arrogant man, thinking he could take care of things himself.

I am really disappointed; I was sure you would get my point.

Part of the strategic knowledge built into the Koran is how to build one's following. Yes, force is used on nonaccepting nonbelievers, but to recruit fighters you need true believers.

To recruit true believers you need a dogma.

To have faith in the dogma you need belief.

To have belief you need proof.

To have proof, you need to fulfill a prophesy.

There is a prophesy that the next legitimate Caliphate will destroy armies from the West and etc.

So, if we provide a Western army for them to destroy and they succeed, that would legitimize their Caliphate by fulfilling their prophesy.

All true Muslims are obligated to support a legitimate Caliphate, according to that reasoning, so at that point their recruitment potential would theoretically be unlimited.
