Jeff Sessions: Peter Strzok's FBI security clearance has been revoked.....

FBI official Peter Strozk has lost his security clearance, according to Attorney General Jeff Sessions.

Sessions, during an interview with conservative talk show host Howie Carr, revealed the measure was taken in the midst of an internal disciplinary review.

“Mr. Strzok, as I understand, has lost his security clearance,” Sessions said.

Last Friday, reports broke that Strzok had been escorted from the FBI building following the release of the highly anticipated Justice Department inspector general report. In the report, IG Michael Horowitz revealed specifics of the bureau’s handling of the investigation into Hillary Clinton's emails. Strzok, one of the head investigators in that probe, was also deeply involved in the investigation into potential collusion between Russia and the Trump campaign.

On Sunday, Strzok’s attorney said he would be willing to submit to questioning on his involvement with the Russia probe and would not invoke his Fifth Amendment rights.....snip~

About time.....now they need to fire him from the FBI. Then with his willing to talk, they can give him Amnesty for rolling over on everybody else. What say ye?

This is just an abject lesson in, yes, the company, the government keep the stuff you do.. forever. They may not know how to get to it, or how to use it, but they keep it. Likely, Strzok thought that his texts were "private" and only available to him.

 

Yes, quite unwise, I'm surprised they had Strzok lead in both these efforts since it clearly appears inappropriate, but suspect this was done on his own initiative, that's what I gather from his messaging; he prioritized investigating Trump's collusion with Russia and made every effort to close the Hillary 'matter'. That doesn't look good at all.

 

My Grandfather was Catholic and was born in Poland. He hated the Russians and so do I. I also hate Peter Strzok. His undermining of our democratic process certainly has pleased Mr. Putin.

 

I'm not sure if they should fire him at this time. With him suspended but still on the payroll, he continues to collect a check and maintain his benefits which can be held over his head. Also, if he remains employed he has to comply with all the rules required of an FBI agent would could benefit anyone investigating him.

The thing that sticks in my mind is his willingness to testify without taking the 5th or wanting immunity, either we're reading him wrong or he's insane.

Nah, the more important part of this is that while he's on payroll, he can be investigated internally. An issue not fully appreciated until McCabe was walked out. So, linger is probably the way to go here. But isolate.

Btw hasn't most of Trump's staff been operating for months specifically Jared, without classified information clearence...only recently was it restored.

He can roll over as to McCabe being in that office with him and Page. The time McCabe said he couldn't recall. He can also roll over as to who told him to prioritize the Russian Investigation over the Clinton Investigation. As well as roll over about any other FBI agents that were involved.

 

For what?

 

The McCabe factor is a good possibility. Strzok was counter-intelligence, so investigating the Russians would be his job. I'm not sure why he'd be investigating Hillary unless it was the Russian hacking of the DNC.

If there were "any other FBI agents that were involved", they'd all be smaller fish than Strzoks himself.

 

Too little too late Sessions, worthless.

 

He was the Lead on Hillary's Investigation.....he was the one that changed the wording from Grossly Negligent to extremely careless.


IG stated there should be no political bias in the FBI. Besides lets not leave some so they can rise to higher ranks of power.
