Thanks. If they used their position for political purposes, they should be disciplined for it. If they were merely sharing personal opinions with lovers, it's still a free country without a Twitter or Text Police to break into people's homes late at night, drag them out of their beds and line them up for either a street execution or political imprisonment in a "reeducation camp".

How about threatening to "Stop" a presidential candidate, from the FBI's NUMBER TWO COUNTER INTELLIGENCE OFFICIAL, who refers to others involved , as well ?

It depends upon several factors, but it certainly should be investigated for official malfeasance.

Um, isn’t he already fired from the FBI? Not only that, but as of next month, Strzok will have been out of the Muelker Investigation for a year, same for Lisa Page.

Have you guys found your next guy you’re going to dwell on, as more skeletons from Trumps closet are revealed? We’ve already bagged seventeen of them.

No, but he is suspended. OTOH, all crimes should be investigated be it Russian interference, illegal contact with the Russians or Hillary's gross negligence in handling classified material.

Sounds good, once we bag the Manhattan Criminal first. Then he and Hillary can share the same cell.

Nice if it could happen but the sad fact is that big shots like Trump and the Clintons don't do time.

If these people are ever indicted a jury of ordinary Americans will almost certainly convict them based on what we know now.
They may have defenses that we are not aware of, but that seems unlikely.

The FBI/DOJ seems to have devolved into a "Fifth Column".

He's been subpoenaed to testify as I understand it so now its time for him to put up or shut up. I expect that when he finally finds himself sitting before the Committee with his lawyer at his side, he will shut up and take the 5th.

The Trump presidency has actually been surprisingly effective in spite off all the opposition from a united political establishment and its MSM.

Hasn't Jared Kushner's security clearance also been revoked?

A point in which we can agree to disagree. The LWers said the same thing about Obama. :)

The swamp cannot be trusted to investigate itself

The IG is part of the DOJ and has limited investigation capability compared to a 2nd independent special council

I think Ultra's position was the elevated positions authority of the two out of 35,000.

Doesn't look like you have read much on the Supreme Court's view of the importance of absolute integrity in the investigation process without even so much as the appearance of bias. But go ahead and pretend that in the presence of undeniable bias, that WE have the burden of proof to show that this obvious, blatant and undeniable bias, bordering on pathological hatred, affected any decisions!

As for your unrelated rant on re-education camps, SCOTUS has never used that approach, they simply throw out all the prosecutions that are conducted by biased investigators, Silly!

And this from the same parade of clowns who claims that deep seated bias causes us to constantly aggress others in ways that must continually be addressed through "progressivism" with no burden of proof whatsoever to establish that we are guilty of bias that must be corrected.

And you wonder why you guys keep losing elections?

Obama was also able to accomplish many of his objectives, but Obama, unlike Trump enjoyed the support of most of the political establishment and the MSM.

The thinking Left used to believe than bias mattered.

"The investigation of something as serious as official criminal activity must be carried out with the appearance of impartiality, so that the public can be assured that, whatever the outcome of the investigation, the matter is settled. And the Justice Department, for several reasons, is not in a position to give this appearance of impartiality, no matter what the integrity of its present officials. First the FBI is a part of the Justice Department, and there is at least implied collusion. Second, the Justice Department has in the past acknowledged that the CIA was above the law: there was an agreement between the CIA and the Justice Department that if the CIA General Counsel decided that a prosecution would require the release of classified information the charges would be dropped. Third, the Justice Department is currently representing intelligence officials who are being sued for damages in civil court—a conflict of interest. And finally, no matter how sincerely and attorney general may want to prosecute, there will be problems of maintaining loyalty and morale within the department among officials who may, if only my lack of vigilance, have been implicated by the legality under investigation."The Lawless State, The Crimes of the U.S. Intelligence Agencies, Morton H. Halperin, Jerry J. Bermin, Robert L. Borosage, and Christine M. Marwick, Penguin Books, NY, 1977. p.275.

Or so they claimed. They initially claimed men in positions of power should never sexually harass women, but then after Clinton grabbed Willy by the hooters, I saw feminist leaders explaining "the One Grope rule".

50 years ago we had that figured out? Morton's son Mark is the MSLSD analyst?

That certainly does have impact. However, their efforts, real or imagined, didn't have the desired effect since Hillary lost. Woot!

Not without Congress. Anything he did on his own was reversed by Trump using the same power.

ObamaCare is still hanging in there, the troops are still out of Iraq, many of Obama's Schedule C appointments remain in place, and his executive orders remained in force at least until he left office - he was in office for a long time.
Obama had Harry Reid, McConnell, and Boehner to work with him - a big advantage.
