Why is the left OK with giving politicians the power to dictate what a person can and can't do with their own body????

Why are conservatives ok with the notion that cops can arrest us for choosing which consumables we want to ingest?

    Pot, kettle. Hypocrite.

My claim is you're all hypocrites.

    And you are.

    Hilarious, I know.

    From your link:

So putting taxes on the ballot for voters to decide on instead of ramming it through the legislature is a bad thing in your world?

I don't even agree with the war on drugs but in no way is your progressive regulating of legal products even close to the war on drugs.

A kid can go off and die in war at 18 but can't have a smoke or a beer?

I don't like republicans or progressives because they're always trying to regulate something but to compare this to the war on drugs is absolutely asinine...

It's quite odd that the people who claim to want to save lives are fighting the e-cigs.

It's addictive? Who cares. So is coffee.

If you want to save lives a part of that should be to encourage people to switch over to it. It's addictive but not as addictive as tobacco (nicotine alone never is). Its also believed to be about 95% less harmful.

Soldiers should get an exemption if they are under 21, just like they should for alcohol.

Why just soldiers? Why not everyone of the age of 18 years or older?

I think the age should be 18, not 21, but if they're going to have it that way, we should at least give our soldiers an exception. Police officers too. Just seems silly to ask people to die and then tell them they can't have a beer or a smoke.

Who smokes 20 joints a day though? Most users use it occasionally rather than daily. Tobacco on the other hand...

Then why are the same groups who campaigned against smoking campaigning against e-cigs. As an engineer I had to laugh at the study the said 'e-cigs contain formaldehyde' they basically cooked the liquid so hot that it broke down and said 'see formaldehyde!!! That is the equivalent to putting a stake on the grill incinerating it to ash then saying 'see look at all these carcinogens in steak.'
