They can build onto the one we have in Jerusalem now. Its was put in what was no mans land anyways. After it was moved out of East Jerusalem. To me its a crock of you know what to waste time and money. So anything they come up with will be an excuse.

I know some contractors that would take the job, Right now. If it isn't winter over there they can start immediately.

If the Russian troll Farms think moving the embassy to Jerusalem is a bad idea, that means it's probably a great idea.

Dude... you really can't just build on top of the other. lol

And of course there are contractors willing to take the job.
But they don't even have any plans for it.

Their aim is to recognize East Jerusalem as capital of Palestine and West Jerusalem as capital of Israel.

Well not on top, but it can be added onto. Kind of like adding additional rooms to a house.

As for the plans. All the better to use whats there......then take it from there.

Russia recognizes Jerusalem as the Israelis capital......and says East Jerusalem should be the Palestinians Capital. Emphasis on should be. But then lets see if Russia wants to divide their Capital. Ask them if they are willing to divide theirs.

Israel said Jerusalem was their capital going back to 1950 and even before. Long long time ago. When there were no Palestinians.

Which really isn't logical.....is it? Considering Russia isn't willing to divide their Capital City up.

Oh yeah sure. Just a couple of 100 people just jam it all in "extra rooms".
How they get to park their cars their... who knows.

That really won't work one bit to just mess around. It needs a lot more power, fiber optics, plumbings,.. the works. Not to mention that it all needs to be as secure as fort knox, walls included.

Its actually really logical. It's not as half of Moscow is in an other country like Jerusalem.

Well, there were -- but, at least since 1950, they were called Jordanians.

Jerusalem isn't in any other Country but Israel. Tell the Palestinians/TransJordanians find another city to act as their Capital.

    Indeed.
It was split between Israel and Jordan 1950-1967 and then disputed from 1967 to 1994, but then Jordan gave up its claim to in in 1994 in a treaty that ceded the territory to Israel.

Jerusalem has always been split since the creation of Israel by the UN.
That never changed. All kinds of binding UNSC resolutions say so.
    Israel must comply.

Not without any kind of detailed plans.

I know Americans like to build things with plywood. Iffy crap that just flies all over the place when hit by a tiny tornado. But this needs to be bomb proof fort knox.

    Nope....

“We reaffirm our commitment to the UN-approved principles for a Palestinian-Israeli settlement, which include the status of East Jerusalem as the capital of the future Palestinian state. At the same time, we must state that in this context we view West Jerusalem as the capital of Israel,”

General Contractors or an Architect will draw up the plans. Or have their Engineers and draftsmen draw them up. You do know that's what they do, correct?

Yeah all those brick homes and Buildings in Major cities across the US shows how they like to build things with Plywood.

Bottomline......we don't need to start over from scratch.

I know. And it will take years for such to acquire lands to build on, US civil servants giving their approval of those plans, to than all the permits going in.

They agreed about the design of the One World Trade Center in 2003.
It took them 3 years of planning before ever starting with building it.

So I do think you got no clue what it all involves.

Yeah I don't know about the political end of it....but as far as building it. I don't think you have a clue as to how that's done.

Oh and its 3 Story building now. So building it up and putting some things underground, isn't that difficult to do.
