You just oversimplified two complicated an unrelated subjects to try to defend Smollett.

Meanwhile, this season of Empire has lost viewers but the show still survives and will be renewed.

    The only difference is jurisdiction.

The only real difference is that feds apply the law uniformly, cops do so on a selective basis. FACT.

All charges dropped by the prosecution this morning. Smollett walks a free man but forfeited his bond. Really strange. His attorney didn't flat out say it but suggested the police 'trying and convicting him in the media' had something to do with it? It doesn't smell right to me, but I wasn't there. Makes a body wonder if somebody got to somebody though.

Well, that was an EASY prediction to make.

Everybody following the case knew that there was ZERO Chance that he would do jail time.

Prosecutors led by Alexander R. Acosta, who is now the secretary of labor, violated federal law when they failed to tell victims about an agreement not to prosecute Jeffrey E. Epstein, a wealthy New York financier accused of molesting dozens of underage girls, a federal judge ruled on Thursday.
When you start throwing your disgust in both directions while making blanket statements, get back to us.
Till then you have zero credibility.

Forfeiting a $100K bond is a lot worse than Republican Jacob Wohl going off scot free without any charge or bad press.

What does that have to do with what I said at all?

One thing has absolutely nothing to do with the other however.

... but now the "Justice" system in Cook County, Illinois (Chicago) has decided to drop all charges against this... THING. So typical for any unfortunate pesthole ruled by hyperliberal Democrats. Link: https://edition.cnn.com/2019/03/26/entertainment/jussie-smollett-charges-dropped/index.html

He flagrantly broke several laws, seeking to enrich himself, fan the flames of race-hatred, and try to make White people feel like we're all still a bunch of unrepentent "racists' -- and that's just FINE with the liberal Democrats who rule Cook County, Illinois.

"HYPOCRITE -- THY NAME IS DEMOCRAT!"

LOL. Yeah, like if the white guy got screwed but the black guy walked scot free then it would be injustice, right?

Again two entirely different circumstances, entirely different situations, each worthy of discussion. But one has absolutely nothing to do with the other.

if you troubled yourself to read the OP you would see that it dealt with this issue being a matter of race - therefore Wohl's case is relevant as he got off because he was a privileged white guy

I must have read a different OP than you did. Again two different circumstances. Too different cases. One has absolutely nothing to do with the other.
