    I admit that I have never considered a meme a complete factual representation of the situation. I understand that memes are based on some level of truth but they are typically blown out of proportion for the purpose of entertainment or to amplify a point.

    I think PolitiFact has a policy of actually telling the truth about twice a day.
    IOW, PolitiFact is almost as reliable as a stopped clock, and that probably makes them the most reliable "fact checker". ;-)

    It raises an important point, though. Biden released his Selective Service records in 2008. In 2016, Trump refused to release his records, and responded with a one paragraph statement claiming a temporary deferment because of bone spurs. What is Trump hiding?

    Who said that? The meme claimed "yes, he actually said this". Funny thing is, the poster who posted it has taken issue with memes in non humor threads.

    There is a difference between obvious memes and ones purporting to present an actual quote of a President.

    ~ I never "trust " any fact-checker - too easy. I have to sometimes be an information detective to find facts. It ain't always a simple task and can lead in circles. For the most part we are duped and misled far too often. Putting the pieces together is the key.
