    So he didn’t interfere. He let the DOJ do their jobs and stayed out of it.

    In complete contrast to Trump, who asked a foreign government to investigate a political rival.

    From what I understand, the FBI had to sign that the dossier was true and verified. From what I hear they knew it wasn't verified and some of it untrue when they signed it. It should also been told to the FISA court that the dossier was bought by the Democratic Party and wasn't. That the dossier was the main evidence against Trump to get the FISA court to allow the investigation.

    I’m not a democrat and have no problem with anyone being investigated if there are sufficient grounds for the investigation.

    But you think it’s okay for the president to use the DOJ for political purposes. To politicise the DOJ.

    Under an agreement with Ukraine to weed out corruption in their country, sign by Bill Clinton. The gas company and Biden Son was under investigation before Biden ordered them to drop it. Trump asked the new President to do what he promised to do when he ran for President and open the investigation back up. Trump had every right to do so. Biden wasn't appointed a Democratic contender to run against Trump yet. He was but one of about 20 running for the office. Are you saying if it was found out that any of the others running did something wrong that couldn't be brought out?

    ROFL. Since "every dem candidate is a rival", that undercuts the idea that the ask on Biden's burisma ties is somehow "special". It's not. You don't get blanket immunity for being a candidate, just ask 2016 Donald Trump about that.

    It is “special” because at the time Trump asked for the investigation, Biden was the clear front runner and was polling ahead of Trump in the polls. He was the clearest threat to Trump’s chances of re-election.

    You denying these things is genuinely laughable.

    It looks like the IG is going to conclude that everything was done by the book. So no - completely different to when the investigation started against the Trump campaign.

    The IG investigation was narrow and the IG does not have subpoena power. The IG investigates process (by the book) and suggests fixes.

    The Durham criminal investigation is the one to watch.
