Even though the former Ukrainian Prosecutor just released a statement saying that Biden did nothing wrong?

Bingo. The investigation into the company on which Hunter Biden sat was an investigation into behavior done by the company roughly two years prior to Hunter Biden joining the company.

Nothing in your link says that. We know about that information from public records. The US govt knows about Hunter's income from tax filings. Even so, the US can subpeana or simply request other records. You do that through normal channels, not by sending Giuliani to meet in secret meetings.
