Kamala Harris says the riots are not going to stop

I probably agree with you on pretty much everything big:

1. Racist outcomes of justice system. Many videos to show it.

2. People should be out by the millions protesting.

3. Someone is spreading propaganda in a systematic way to spread fears that Democrats/BLM want a race war.

Here is probably where I disagree:

1. I don't think dirty cops are mostly responsible for the racist outcomes. I believe it is mostly the system. The justice systems across America didn't flip a 180 after the Civil rights movement of the '60s. I don't think it is even possible to steer something like a justice system that evolved over centuries like an F16 jet. It's probably similar to the economy in that it can only be steered like a ship. And I do believe it took a positive turn a few decades ago. Also I don't believe every video of a black man being shot is evidence of racism.

2. I believe the protests during the day are mostly peaceful. But based on the totality of videos/commentary I've seen over months, it seems that after dark the streets are filled with people out to harrass/intimidate/burn/looted anyone not doing what they are doing. ESPECIALLY if you stand against what they are doing.

1) I agree, and I have talked about how the justice system needs reform, top to bottom, several times.

2) Yes, but what the Right clearly wants is an orgy of violence. I have no problem with a governor calling in the National Guard to police. But I would vehemently oppose Trump using a paramilitary force as provocateurs... Actually, if you have been watching closely, there have been a number of occasions, in recent months, where Trump has backed away from the crazy. I think that's from Republicans in Congress working quietly to repress his darker impulses.

 

This has nothing to do with local police.
The protests are happening nation wide.

The issue of why there are protests happening nationwide needs to be addressed. Not ignored like the Corona virus thinking it will magically disappear.

The goal is to **** up so much ****, regardless of whether there's a legitimate reason, so that life is awful for your average American, and maybe THEN they'll want change.

People were too happy having Trump head the country. Democrats need to throw things into chaos and then try and blame it on Trump for them to have a chance.

 

So Kamala wants to defund the police and keep the rioting and looting going? Sad.

Conclusion : the source is a lie. But the source is not a human or a network or a member so there is nothing that can be done using our rules to to make the source stop lying.​
