    Supposedly they have advanced 30km into formerly occupied territory along a broad front. Russia seems to have taken forces from that area to reinforce down south so now the Ukrainians are riding rough shod over the Russians in the NE. This threatens supplied lines to the big Russia based\HQ in Izium.

    I kinda wondered why General Grant was at Appomatox accepting General Lee's surrender ...and not Sherman.

    Mind you...Grant was in charge of most Union forces....I can maybe see why.

    Grant had his Hqs with the Army of the Potomac, and that army defeated Lee. Sherman was still in North Carolina squared off against Joe Johnston.

    I predicted not long ago that the orcish army would fold under a proper assault by a real military with proper weapons and training, and it looks like I was right.

    I also had to wonder if all the telegraphing of the southern counterattack was meant to weaken the orcish defensive lines elsewhere so that other counterattacks could be conducted, and that seems to be confirmed also.

    UA :buggered: RU big time.

    Tons of Russian equipment captured as Russian soldiers just abandon them and run away. Tanks, self propelled artillery, trucks, ammo, etc...

    The understaffed Russian units are doing mass routs with troops literally just running away. There are 20,000 Russians in Izium with only one bridge left which they can escape for the area over. You can bet HIMARs will be blowing up that bridge very soon if not tonight. Then those 20k Russians will be encircled.

    I'll withhold judgement on the veracity of all the Ukranian claims here, but clearly Russian forces are being hit hard near Kharkiv. Looks like the Russians got sucked into defending Kherson only to get hit at the other end of the line. Not sure how long & for how far Ukraine can press this, but this is going to hurt Russia.

    Look forward to our Russian troll army explaining how Russia is merely 'advancing in a rearward direction'. Not long ago they were boasting about 10,000 surrounded ukrainians. Oops!
